If you had the chance to eat at one of two places, where would it be. I'm still undecided and haven't been to either one. I figured everyone here could be a big help in my decision. Thanks for voting.

I haven't been to Cape May, so I'm a little biased. I love 1900 Park Fare though. I've been there twice for dinner and once for breakfast. It ranks up there as my favorite restaurant for a character meal. The character interaction has always been great and the food is good as well. I like that you get face characters as well as regular characters. Both breakfast and dinner have a good mix.

We have eaten at both.....

Cape May Cafe - we were seated very quickly, had above and beyond great service, food was good and plentiful, we were never rushed or hurried and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with another family.

1900 Park Fare - we did have to wait for our seating, had just average service (when we were even checked on), food was good and plentiful, character interaction was great, felt server was pushy in insisting kids try some "awesome drink" - that they hated and we were charge a unbelievable amount for, too crowded.

So I voted Cape May based on two restaurants, and not counting the character interaction.

We've been to 1900. Haven't been to Cape May and aren't likely to go since my DW is allergic to seafood so by default I'd have to recommend 1900. Food was excellent. Chef was very responsive to a couple of special requests we made. Only complaint (true at many Disney restaurants) is that the place is quite loud.

We have been to both restaurants and liked both very much. I voted for Cape May, but I think you could just flip a coin.

Which characters are at Cape May? We've never been to this breakfast and we're thinking of trying it our during our next trip.

gene751, I've never eaten at Cape May but we have been to 1900 Park Fare several times and we've never been disaapointed with the food, service, characters, etc. Wherever you decide to dine, I hope you enjoy it!

Hi,

I'm undecided about Christmas lunch/dinner. These two restaurants are on my short list. I'd love to try these out first during my next visit to WDW in Oct, but I need to book something tomorrow for Christmas Day!!

Charactures over at Cape May are Minnie Mouse, Chip, Dale and Goofy. All in Beach attire.
I have dined at both and prefer Cape May over 1900 Park Fare.

We did Goofys Beach BAsh Breakfast in August and it was wonderful. Now, dh wants to do the clambake for dinner. We have eaten at 1900 Park Fare several times, but it is much noisier than Cape May. Are there characters at dinner at Cape May? I was under the impression that the characters are there for breakfast. But Winnie the Pooh and friends are at all meals at 1900.

Cape May only has charactures for breakfast only. I have been to the Clambake several times and is a must for every one of my visits. It is soooo worth the $$. I am from New England and I love my seafood so this is a great buffet for our taste buds.
