We have planned to eat in the following resturants for dinner in the evenings..... what do you think, would you change any resturant on the list and recommend another?

1) Cafe Mickey + Birthday Cake :cake:
2) Rainforest Cafe
3) Planet Hollywood
4) Annettes Diner
5) Billy Bobs

Hi

I'll post on your thread now then.

Cafe Mickey - amazing, probably the best character meal we've ever had in terms of character interaction, where doing it again, have done on ever trip.

Rainforest Cafe, also very good. The food is excellent, the portions massive. I'm a big eater and couldn't finish my main course on either occasion we've visited.

Only been inside Planey Hollywood, but not eaten looks excellent.

Not been to the other two, although people usually rave about Annettes.

Sounds good!

I have to say, we've tried Planet Hollywood and weren't impressed. But that was just us personally, and I know other people have been there and had a fab time!

Hope you'll take some food pics for me!

Oh, and we adore RFC, CM and Annettes!! :cloud9:

I really fancy going to Annettes for lunch now.... :guilty:

They look great Sarah - I haven't been to Planet Hollywood, but have eaten at the others, and they all were good.

My favourites for food were Rainforest Cafe and Annettes - but you can't beat Cafe Mickey for birthday girls and boys :cloud9: .

You can't book in advance for either the Rainforest Cafe, Annettes, or Planet Hollywood, so you may need consider how early you want to eat on those days (all restaurants in the Village get busiest just after the parks official closing times).

Cafe Mickey is an excellent choice for your Birthday Meal. :thumbsup2
Everyone has different views and experiences, but can also vouch for Annette's and Planet Hollywood, although our experience of RFC wasn't too good, but I'd be happy to give it another go, we're hoping to try Billy Bob's next time. :)

For my taste this is way to much Village and not enought Hotels or Parks. ;)

We never eat at the village. If the park is open late or on our last day we eat at the Disneyland Park and on the other nights we eat at one of the Hotels.

I didn't have a great experience at Planet Hollywood, I had to send my & my DF food back because it was stone cold and my chips tasted stale... maybe we caught them on a bad day. However we loved Cafe Mickey, it was amazing!!!
Didn't have such a good time at Billy Bob's either I think I was expecting far too much from it myself and I didn't think it was value for money concidering other places we could have gone, but I suppose thats just one of those things.

Afraid I'm another who wouldn't return to Planet Hollywood - distinctly average food at higher than average prices, and the tables are so cramped that unless you sit on the outside of the room you have difficulty getting out. You are also pestered to have a photo(s) taken and then pestered to buy the photos, not an experience I want in a restaurant.
Never been to Billy Bobs.
I like RC although it is rather overpriced....portions are huge.
Annettes is my favourite on your list and we go there every time at least once.
Cafe Mickey to be honest I could take or leave but the characters and atmosphere are great, and it's perfect for a birthday.

I've been to them all except for Billy Bob's which is still on my 'to-do' list.

I've had lovely meals at all, even Planet Hollywood where I was expecting to have an awful meal and we were very pleasantly surprised. Now you know about the photo you can always be prepared and refuse to have one taken.

Enjoy!! :goodvibes
