Dinner options for MNSSH?

Table service or counter service? Personally I prefer to do a quick CS meal around 5:00, we'll before the official start of the party. I like Columbia Harbor House. You can get into MK as early as 4:00 with your party tickets. people not staying for the party start leaving in droves, and lines start to shorten for rides and CS restaurants. I've even gotten some corn dog nuggets at Casey's and people watched the departing guests.

Other folks like sit-down meals before the party but I don't like to spend that kind of time. I prefer a quick bite and get going with the festivities!

Note that they probably won't allow dinner ADRs in-park at 180 days, unless party dates have been announced. Last year, they only opened ADRs for dinner after party nights were announced, and it was after most October 180-day limits.

Do you remember about when the party dates were announced??

I want to say that when sales opened, so did ADRs. I would have to look in my email archive to confirm.

Last year we did Liberty Tree at about 4:45. That gave us time to enter the park, walk the first behind the scenes trick or treat trail (to get trick or treat bag) and pick up our Dessert Party/parade/fireworks package passes before heading to the restaurant. We were done before 6:00, so we didn't miss out on any party time. If you're booking a dining time earlier than 6:00pm (it may even be a bit later than that, but before 7:00 for sure - I don't recall exactly), you can book at your 180 days out.

I was able to book a dinner ADR for a party night on 4/25 last year. So dinner ADR release was between announcement and ticket availability.

And it was for a time before 6, dinner, at BOG. Disney did not release dinners prior to that date. My 180 was in March, so that should give you an idea of the veracity of the release.

Awesome, thank you!

If you are attending MNSSHP, you are not going to want to waste time at a TS ADR during the party. Also, if the most popular characters are ones you want to see (such as Jack and Sally or the 7 Dwarfs), you will not want an ADR close to the party either. Those lines get huge well before party time, and Jack and Sally have been known to actually come out and start their meet and greet by 6:00 to try to keep the lines down. Those lines start forming by around 4:30. For MNSSHP or MVMCO we usually do a big lunch- maybe even a late big lunch. We have grabbed CS and eaten it in a character line--- we have had one of us take DD to grab CS while the other holds a spot in a character line-- and we have just gotten in the character line and waited and seen the character and then grabbed a quick CS sometime during the party. Last year, they were selling pretzels and drinks AT,IN the line for Jack and Sally- we had a late big lunch, and I think that actually wound up being our dinner!

I usually choose a late lunch and just snack throughout the party, so as not to waste party time. This year we went to Grand Floridian Cafe, had a lovely lunch and were ready to party by 4.
