Dinner on arrival day, Plaza or Tony's or something else.

We are arriving Saturday January 16 and MK is open until 11:00 that night. We are hoping to get to MK around 6:00 and eat supper. We are on the DDP so we will have a TS and CS to use that day. I would rather use a TS for this meal cause I don't see us using that extra TS later on if we use a CS that evening. We are already planning on eating at LTT later in the week. So that really just leaves Plaza and Tony's. Plaza looks more like a CS from the menu with just sandwiches. I have heard mostly bad reviews of Tony's though. What should we do that first dinner?

Plaza is a sandwhich place and is very good. I how ever would not use a tb for this if I were to go here I pay oop.
We have been to Tony's many of times we just had one of r best dinners there last month. So if you want a great dinner go with Tony's if you want good sandwhiches go with Plaza.

I agree. We ate at both places a few weeks ago & liked them both. It was our 2nd time at the Plaza. It's way better than a CS place.

Both are good. I would pick Tony's over the Plaza.

I would pick somewhere else. Maybe at one of the monorail resorts only because I dont really care for either one of those.

I agree with pp - I would opt for one of the ts options at one of the monorail resorts.

Kona at Poly is a great sit down meal.....

I'm interested in this too. Been to Plaza for lunch and it was awesome. Such a great break from CS in the park. Heard mixed reviews on Tony's in the past. Glad to see some are having great meals there. We may give it a go!

I also would go out of the park for my TS. Maybe try The Wave over at the CR.

We've eaten at Tony's... it was nothing impressive. Plaza looks really good! We're eating there in January.

We'll be there at the same time! Right now the Plaza is on my list for dinner the 16th. Never been there but we had Tony's the last time we were there. I thought it was okay but we dropped it from our list this time in favor of trying other Italian places.
