Dinner during fireworks

Ex: CG during 10 pm showing of Wishes (or even) R&C Dining during 9 pm showing of Illuminations


How do you guys do it? Do you actually wait that late to eat - to see the show during dinner? We're the 6 pm type. But, I want the first nite to be very special for my DW, DS, & MIL. They have NEVER been to WDW and the last time I went was 15 yrs. ago. We are doing CG the 1st nite. I don't want to starve them after arrival. Any advice/opinions?

If you and your familly usually eat early, and you want to do a later dinner, then snack late! Also eat a late lunch, or a big lunch. Have some snacks throughout the day.

Then do your late dinner.

Thanks. Just thinking about it... it would require us to sleep in and sacrifice getting a head start the following day. Maybe I'll just stick with the normal plan. I guess was just curious what's more important to others.
