Might be a stupid question, but I have not been to F&W in years and I happen to be making a stopover in October. I have a dining ressie in Epcot for Saturday night at Via Napoli (love pizza!) but now I am wondering if we should just eat at the booths that are set up all around to sample lots of snacks to make up a meal? Two adults so no cranky / hungry kids to worry about!

The last time I went during F&W I didn't bother with eating either CS or TS meals; I just grazed at the booths. Honestly, it seems kind of silly to me to go during F&W and eat at the restaurants in Epcot that you can eat at any other time.

Last time Dh & I went we did just the booths at Epcot. Go check out some of the menus to make sure it would be right for you guys.

On the weekend the lines for the booths will be long. For our week long trip we're planning to go to F&W several times. We'll have ADRs for at least a few meals.

We will be there at the start of food and wine and are doing one day with no ADR's and plan on just eating at the booths. But like what was stated above, try to avoid attempting that on weekends, if that is possible.

I'm trying to make the same decision. My Epcot night falls on a Friday, so I know the food booths will be insanely busy. I still can't decide ADR or no ADR.:scratchin

I'm also trying to figure this out. We are going mid-week though and decided to just try the booths and if we really want to sit down, just hope for a table for 2 is available in Epcot or go to one of the lounges around Boardwalk and get a light dinner at the bar there.

We are planning on eating 3 different meals at the booths. Last year 2 wasn't enough to try everything we wanted!

I am always stuffed from just walking around trying all the booths and I am usually splitting items with a friend too!! We love F&W.:goodvibes

This year I am with my Mom, Cousin and my Sixteen year old DD that is not as adventurous as the rest of us. So I do have an ADR for Via Napoli for her that evening since she just loves the pizza there. I figure the rest of us can just sit and relax and have a glass of wine while she is eating her pizza.:thumbsup2

Looking forward to it! I usually load one of the cards you wear on your wrist with $100 and eat and drink from 11am:yay: till night.....

Friday nights seem to be loaded with locals. ( especially during the beginning of the Food & Wine festival). It seemed like a rowdy crowd the last two years. Lots of drinking going on. If there is an option for a weekday, I would opt for that instead of the weekend. The food is great. We unfortunately had a reservation for dinner & were stuffed. The second year we opted to enjoy the samples instead of a meal. They were yummy!

Having the same dilemma because our only day at F & W is the very last day of the festival, a Monday but still the final day, and I am unsure if the lines will be crazy or not.
