I have read all of the negative things about dining here for breakfast or lunch but have not heard any comments on the dinners. I know the price has went up lots and is now 2 TS credits per person, but what is the food like? :confused3
The menu really doesn't look that bad. I have read that they sometimes do special things for bdays and anniversary's if they know ahead of time. Is it worth it?

I ate dinner at CRT in the first week of June. The food was good, but the "show" was sort just okay. We had the steak. The fairy Godmother and Suzy and Perla dance around and sing, but will not stop even for a second. You start the meal off with a photo op with Cinderella in the lobby and get an 8 X 10 and 4 wallets of the photo with Cinderella as well as an 8 X 10 of the castle free. You also get a nice lithograph of the castle. i went to dinner just for the photos and lithograph. I am returning to WDW for my birthday in September and it is not in my top picks to spend my birthday at.

We will be celebrating while there and thought maybe the photos would be a nice keepsake for our anniversary, but wanted to know what the food was like. We have also never eaten in the castle before, but are still undecided.

Thanks for you info on the food.

Dinner food was just okay as far as we were concerned. We have eaten at many places and find that we really just like simpler food than the fancy disney restaurants. Well, not that we had a lot of choice of what to order but what we had was simple enough and fine. BUT we didnt feel it was any better than actually we felt it was much worse than eating at Crystal palace or oh I cant remember what else my hubbs was comparing it to. We felt it was really worth it because we were treating my 7 year old dd for her birthday. That was the one and only reason it was worth it. Food was okay, overpriced...we had plenty of photos maybe not quite as nice but who cares... the litho...well we have lots of lithos that we used to get for preordering movies at disney store and some are in the trash others are at teh bottom of a large box in the back of the attic. My dd however was just so thrilled. We had a great server who played along with us for some surprises for her. But with the lack of character interaction, very acceptable just not high quality food, and price it was Definitely nothing special and I wont be doing it again.....not for 2 ts credits anyway. But it served it's purpose.

Dinner reviews are not that good. It was a complete waste of money IMO. B-Fast and Lunch costs less and they get more interaction, and better "stuff" - there's no interaction at dinner with the "Characters" except for the 30 seconds you have with Cinderella downstairs .

I'd go for lunch or breakfast but never dinner again unless they change it back to a regular meal.

We just returned from a 12 day trip to WDW on the dining plan. I decided to have dinner at CRT for my husbands birthday. It was definitely the worst meal we had. The waitress was very curt, we had to ask for drink refills and then she goofed those up (poured ice tea to refill my diet coke, gave my son a refill of lemonade when he had sprite, and my other son who didn't like the lemonade asked for Coke instead and she told him "no"). The soup was very good, but the steak was dry and the blueberry buckle was so dried out, that a butter knife would not cut through it. We found the choices to be very limited and the character interaction was minimal at best. I told them when I made ressie's that it was my husbands birthday. Before dinner she brought a cupcake out and gave it to my son...when I told her it was for my husband she rolled her eyes at us. And don't get me going on the billing issues we had. The only nice thing I can say is the picture came out nice. We will definitely never go back there. It's sad to say, that CRT is now the butt of all of our jokes, because nothing could be worse.
