Dinner choices convenient to OKW

We're staying at OKW for the first time. We are traveling with my parents who LOVE to eat out, as well as DS(3) and DD(1). We probably won't rent a car, so are looking for places to eat (other than Olivia's) that will be somewhat easily accessisble with Disney transportation.

Anyone have any must-eat dining recommendations for DTD? Can you make a PS for those resturants?

Also, is it possible to take the bus to Epcot, and walk to the BW or some of the other resorts in that area?

We just stayed at OKW last week. The bus service was excellent. You might also consider any of the MK resorts. They all have some excellent resturants, especially for your kids ages. All you have to do is take the bus to MK and then the monorail to where ever you want. I would think that's actually less walking and time than going to EPCOT and then the Boardwalk.

We also took the boat to DTD. I have only eaten at Wolfgang Pucks there, which was good.

Keep in mind - if you are DVC members, or renting points from a DVC member, you are entitled to free valet parking at other DVC resorts. We drove on our last trip, and enjoyed driving ourselves from OKW to BW - parking there - and then enjoying the restaurants and pool facilities at Boardwalk. You can even stroll into EPCOT from there through the International Gateway. Just have your DVC member card or parking pass indicating your are a member ready to show security - they do require it to be shown to be admitted.
