Dinner & Breakfast at Gatwick - where?

Can you give me your reccomendations for dinner and breakfast at Gatwick.

What is your favourite meal?

Where do you go?

I would like to try something different this year (usually McDonald's!) - however - we will have the in-laws with us and they don't do "spicy food's" - this means anything other than meat & two veg!!!!!! So we need to cater for varied tastes - including a 16 year old chocoholic and a 10 year old "picky" eater.

Frankie and Benny's for both Or Pizza Express for brekkie - my DH (connoisseur of full English breakfasts ) thought it was the best one for his cookie.

Is Pizza Express in the south terminal? Don't recall it being in the north.

Yep, Pizza Express is upstairs in the south terminal.

Another vote for Frankies and Bennies for both. Evening meal is Italian/New York food. Pizza, pasta, steak, chicken, fish etc. Something for everyone, even fussy eaters!! enjoy

We normally eat at either McDonalds or Garfunkels. Both places we have had really nice meals. This year we are planning to eat at McDonalds only reason its quick and cheap.

North terminal - Yo Sushi, great japanese breakfast, rice with salmon teriyaki and miso soup or try the kedgeree.

It's landside in the South terminal.

Does anyone know if there's a link to show what shops are in both north and south terminals? We are staying for the first time at Le Meridien next month ( that's sound good - 'next month' ); we normally stay at the Hilton which is in south terminal. I'm looking forward to the change, especially since we get to ride the monorail shuttle between north and south . . . but what are the facilities for shops/eateries like in north terminal is what I'm getting around to asking

Try the BAA web site. Not the best layout but it has the information you're after.

Virgin Clubhouse.

Salmon and scrambled eggs, with a glass of champagne, fantastic. Plus the bacon butties are superb as well.

Ah . . . now there's an idea. We're Silver members, how do we book the Virgin Clubhouse, the only one I seem to be able to find online is Aviance or something like it

There are AFAIK, only three ways into the clubhouse
1) With an Upper Class ticket
2) If you are a Flying Club Gold member
3) Virgin Holidays have clubhouse access at a price (£30 per person???) that shoulkd be available on their web site

The VH pass does not however, give you access to the V touch treatments.
