Dinner at Park Closing?

I understand that you can get ressies for dinner up to park closing, but doesn't that mean you're sacraficing fireworks?
lets say that you have 9PM ressies at Liberty Tree, and the Mk closes at 9, you'd be eating when wishes is going? why would you do that?
lets say that you just happen to show up at 9:05 in order to catch the first part of Wishes. would the staff at LTT say "tough noogies, we're closed"?
now if you can get ressies at 9:12 when wishes ends, i'd be all over that.

Well, my bf and I aren't that into fireworks. So the 9pm seating would be great for us.

We actually ate at a very empty Brown Derby at park closing while everyone was at Fantasmic.

If they seat until closing, I would guess the cut-off is 9pm. Maybe try calling reservations and see if they acn seat you later.
