We like Soodles & Flying Fish on the Boardwalk. We love the Brown Derby at MGM.

Flying Fish at Boardwalk. Or, if you're willing to walk around the lake to the Yacht Club you could try the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

We eaten at Mama Melrose at MGM twice and really liked it both times.

We're not crazy about any of the restaurants at MGM, although to 50's Prime Time can be fun. We prefer to walk over to the Boardwalk and eat at Spoodle's. Yachtsman is also good but is very pricey. Haven't eaten at Flying Fish because DD says there is nothing on the menu she would order. Big River Grille is also on the Boardwalk - food is pretty basic but OK. DD and DH like ESPN (no ADRs accepted) but I'm not wild about it.

We recommend either Spoodles or the hidden treasure of WDW, the Yachtclub Galley!!!

Never eaten at the Boardwalk but, we too enjoy Mama Melrose's. With Alfredo's being gone, I think this will be our Italian spot of choice now at WDW.
