What is your best recommendation for dinner at Magic Kingdom?

Thanks!

Just saw that several people have looked at your question and none have answered. IMO it is because the food at MK is not the best in the World. We have eaten everywhere at MK and if you have time and are able, hop on the monarail and eat at one of the resorts. If you want to eat at the park and havent eaten in the castle, its a fun experience. The food IMO is so so but its fun. We like the Plaza Resturant because we can get things such as sandwiches that we dont get at the other parks (We always do sit down).

First time visiting, but over Spring Break we have scheduled our last dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table during Wishes. I've read mixed reviews of how people like having dinner there during Wishes, but we're excited for a unique opportunity.

We like the Liberty Tree Tavern, but have only done it at lunch. We also liked Tony's. Both have a nice setting.

MK has a few decent places to eat if you are talking sit down meals (We enjoy LTT and CP). But we will usually leave MK and go to WL or one of the monorail resorts. Our favorite meal in the MK area is the skillet at WCC. But you can check out the menus and see what might suit you best.

Haven't tried LTT but it gets a lot of good reviews.

The Plaza is good for a nice sit-down lunch or a quick dinner.

Tony's Town Square has some loud detractors but it really is good food and a nice place. Esp. if you're by a window and Spectromagic is going by! Don't expect fine Italian dining, though, but it's a good place.

And, of course, the buffet at Crystal Palace. I prefer the breakfast there over the dinner (esp. an early ADR before the park opens!)

FEW Qs:
With or Without Kids? If kids, ages and gender?
Are you looking for Table Service?

Then you are limited to 4 places w/in MK. Oops, forgot the Castle.

If you are limited for time then you have only 5 choices BUT you can take a quick monorail ride to CR, GF or Poly.

That's what I recommend for a better dinner experience. My choices are in order of preference:

1.) OHanna @ Poly (Good Food & Fun)
2.) California @ CR (Expensive - Good Fireworks View)
3.) Narcoossee's @ GF (Expensive - Good Fireworks View)
4.) Citricos @ GF (Expensive - Good for Special Occasion)
5.) Chef Mickey @ CR (for Characters)
6.) 1900 Park Fare @ GF (if I couldn't get the castle)

* Whispering Canyon - if you have more time to spare. It's a monorail and ferry ride. Probably better to try on a non park day.

IF you want to stay in MK to save time. Then, it's broken down to characters or non characters.

Characters: CRT or CP (that depend which characters you prefer).
More food @ CP & CRT much more expensive & hard to get.

Then, Non-Characters: Tony's, LTV, Plaza.
Tony's is Italian food and I'm Italian and very hard to please. No one cooks like mom. So I don't rave about this place. Have eaten there twice and not rushing to go back. However, there are many who like it. Guess you should try it once.

LTV, never been there so no remarks.

Plaza is really sandwiches and burgers. You can get that @ CS. So it doesn't trill me.

MK w/ Character: CP due to cost and amt of food.
MK w/o Characters: Tie for Tony's & LTV: guess gotta try it.

Hope this helps.

My recommendations:

In the park: Crystal Palace
Monorail resort next to MK: 'Ohana, Cali Grill, Narcoossee's

If you really want to stay in the park, from our experience, I would suggest The Plaza, Tony's Town Square (we love it and it is our first and last meal tradition  ), Crystal Place and even the Castle (we have eaten there three times and love it)

MomtoQ, :welcome: to the DIS :tinker: Enjoy your trip pixiedust:

We like Liberty Tree Tavern as well as Crystal Palace for a buffet. Our favorite CS meal in the park is Pecos Bill but since we are usually staying at CR (and now BLT because we are DVC members), we will usually eat at the Contempo Cafe for lunch

My husband and I love Liberty Tree Tavern. It's all you can eat which is probably why my husband likes it :) The Plaza Restaurant is a great sit down sandwich location and their desserts are amazing. Cinderella's Royal Table is also another favorite of mine. They have an amazing pork chop entree.
