Dinner at Crystal Palace?

We booked a dinner at Crystal Palace for our upcoming trip. We have done the character breakfasts there a few times but never dinner. Is it buffet style like breakfast? Are there characters? Is the food good?

It is buffet style (with characters) I have it booked for the first time this coming October. I've read lots of positives (also some negatives, but you are always going to get that) There is a menu posted up (scroll down to find dinner) I'm looking forward to it.

My family and I ate dinner there a month ago and we LOVED it. My wife said it was her favorite meal of our trip. It was served buffet style and had a nice selection of food.

The characters are Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore. All of the characters came to our table twice (except Pooh he only made it by our table one time).

We had dinner there two years ago before MVMCP and really enjoyed it. We are going back for an early dinner this August before the P&P Party. DH thought it was one of the better buffets he's had. Good variety of food. And one of our better pictures from that trip was Tigger messing up DH's hair.

We've eaten there on our last two trips, both times for dinner, and we'll be eating there two weeks from tonight on our first night at WDW.

The food is, I think, slightly better than Chef Mickey's, though it is Disney buffet food. I find their food somewhat more unique than the choices at CM's, though there are also very basic choices, too. The characters are fun. Our server was great last time.
