Dinner at Chef Mickey or Garden Grill for DD's birthday?

Where should we have DD9's 10th birthday dinner? CM or GG?

We already are going to Chef Mickey's for breakfast later in our trip.

i think if you are doing BF go for the Garden Grill, I have heard alot of people were not pleased with dinner at Chef Mickeys. i love the Grill and in addition to Mickey, you get CHIP & DALE. Gotta love um!

I would choose Chef Mickeys. I've done both, and I did not care for Garden Grill. The restaurant is pretty quiet and not as much of a party atmosphere like Chef Mickeys.

We enjoyed the characters much better at Chef Mickeys. At the GG, you only get Mickey, Pluto and Chip n' dale, while at Chef Mickeys, you get the fab 5.

Food at Garden Grill was bland and had no flavor. Chef Mickeys was better, but don't expect a wide variety of choices.

Service was excellent at both.

I prefer Garden Grill. I like having a plated meal instead of standing in line for a buffet. The food at GG is good and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant slowly rotates around The Land attraction. We also have consistently had better character interaction at GG than CM. At GG, the characters have come around more than once and spent more time at each table. At CM, the characters came once only and long enough for a quick picture and that was it.

I have a big problem with the Garden Grill as a character meal. To me, one of the best parts of the character meal is watching them interact with other guests and the anticipation of seeing them getting closer and closer.

At the GG, you don't see the characters until they are on top of you. Having said that, the characters do tend to stay a bit longer at your table as it is a smaller eatery
