Dinner at Boardwalk - all ages - suggestions please :o)

I just posted this question about Downtown Disney - but I want to post about the Boardwalk also. What are my dining options - it will be me, DH, my parents (young 60's), & my 2 DD's 5 & 2 1/2. Anyone have any suggestions or favorites?

There are lots of choices in the Boardwalk area. It depends on what you want.

ESPN is a great place to have a drink and eat sandwiches or wings while watching a game. People of all ages enjoy it.

Flying Fish is a very good upscale seafood restaurant that we always enjoy and children are very welcome. The food and service are excellent.

Many people like Spoodles (I do not).

We also enjoy the Cape May Clam Bake at the Beach Club. It is not gourmet but it is a seafood buffet with many non seafood items. There are buckets of clams, mussels, chicken, chowders, u peel em shrimp, ribs, mashed potatos and red potatos, fish, salads, fruit, pasta, and lots of breads, and many desserts.

Palio is an excellent Italian restaurant at the Swan or Dolphin.

We love ESPN! The food has been great the 2 times we have eaten there, the kids(especially DS,5) love the sports memorabilla, and its a fun atmosphere. Last time we were there they were broadcasting an anniversary show from there.
Even my DM(late 50s) has said "This is the kind of place I could hang in".
BTW, they make a great frozen mudslide.

Another vote for ESPN, we had a great evening there. But based on things I've read here, Beaches and Cream is on my to do list next trip.

My family also loves ESPN. My Kids say we have to eat there each trip.

We like sitting at the outside tables at the Big River Grill! The burgers are good, and the salads are huge!

The kids will love walking around the Boardwalk in the evening, watching the street performers!
