Dinner after the park closes on a party night

Please don't flame me but the darned search isn't working for me and I need to know if it is wrong to book a 7:10 dinner at TTS on a night where the park closes @ 7 but is open later for MVMCP. I know you are supposed to check in 15 to 20 minutes before the time of the reservation which would technically be while the park is still open yet realize that we would probably not be seated until at least our reservation time which is after the park is officially closed. I was up at the crack of dawn this morning and was trying to get a late dinner anywhere in MK on my date of arrival and the only thing that came close was the 7:10 TTS. I did book it and would love to keep it but I don't want to do something wrong, either. We would leave the park immediately after dinner and not even attempt to take advantage of any of the other events as we will be attending a party two nights later. Also, I did book a 1:50pm lunch at Crystal Palace as my back up just in case I was "cheating" so we could use that first thing when we enter the MK that day but I know me and I'm not gonna want to stop and eat when I've got all that riding to do! So, please Dis'ers, tell me what to do! I don't want to hang onto the TTS reservation if I'm doing a "no no" and will cancel it immediately so someone else can get it. As a side note, I spent two hours online this morning (5am EST til 7am EST) and was able to get all my first choices by being a little flexible and we are a party of 7!

I am not totally sure but I believe if you are eating in a TS restaurant and you are finished before the party ends that's fine or if you are staying for the party then when you check in they will ask to see your wristband. At least that was my experience the one time we did a TS during a party. I am not sure about eating during party hours and not staying for the party because by the time you got done eating the party would be in full swing. Even if you just ate and left you would still be in the middle of the party.

I've seen other posts that have said your reservation has to be before the close of the park (ie before 7:00 pm) for you to keep it. If its after you would be asked to see your party wristband in order to keep the reservation.

Okey dokey! Crystal Palace it is and the rides will just have to wait. In about 10 minutes there will be availability for a party of 7 at 7:10pm at TTS on December 8th!
