Dinner/ADR Questions

I'm trying to figure out our schedule for our upcoming trip, and I need to know about how long we can expect dinners to be.

I know CP is a buffet, but I remember having to wait awhile for all the characters to make their way around to us. Is an hour pushing it?

And how about Le Cellier? We want to try to make it to MK after an early dinner.

How early can you show up/check in for ADRs? If you get there 15 min before your "time" do they tell you to come back or are you seated or at least put on "the list"? :confused3

And one more question - how close to your ADR time can you expect to be seated? Has anyone had a really long wait?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

I always plan for 1 hour for a table service meal, longer if it's at a signature restaurant. I've checked in around 30 min before my ADRs before and been able to snag a table early. The longest wait I had was about 1/2 hour and that's because the CMs were trying to get dh and I (newly married) a prime table.

Le Cellier, we had ressies at 6 pm and waited about 5 minutes after our time. We were in and out in less than one hour. This was during the first week in Dec so the park was slow but the restaurant was packed, also we were just 2 adults.

We have been to CP for dinner many times, usually between 4:45 and 5 pm (could not get later times for whatever reason) and we are able to see all the characters and eat a nice relaxing dinner within one hour or so. Again we usually go at a slower time of the year but the place was still a bit on the busy-ish side but not packed, I guess it was because of the time. Also we are just 2 adults.
