Dining With Parents

If DW and I are on the Dining Plan under one room reservation, and my parents are on a different room reservation with the Dining Plan, how would a 4-person dinner be handled by Disney? Would we need separate checks at every meal, or is there a better way?

We had 3 room reservations last year. The first night we all ate together, we explained the "situation" and our server said to simply ask for separate checks whenever we dined together. Simple & easy! :thumbsup2 If you were going to have OOP charges-cocktails for example-and you wanted them to be your "treat," you can simply tell your server to put those all on one tab and give it to you at the end of the meal.

It's good to hear that separate checks aren't a problem for the servers.
