Dining with Newbies...

Hi everyone!
We are going to WDW next May and this is the first time we will be with friends who have never been to WDW. These are our close friends and they are fun and silly like we are so we are pretty sure a lot of the things we like to do or suggest will be fine. When it comes to which parks to go to when they will trust our judgement.

But that got me thinking about dining. For those of you who have gone with newbies, do you recommend we take them to any particular restaurants or skip any particulars? We know what we like, but we dont want to limit their Disney experience! The already hinted that they don't anticipate splitting up from us very much. We must be crazy taking newbies! Haha!
Any suggestions?

If they are fun and silly, I'd try a couple of theme dinners like Prime Time or Whispering Canyon, and a few nice Epcot or resort meals (Artist Poiont, Bistro de Paris, etc.) If they don't want to split up then I'd let them know what your favorites are and try to make sure they get a taste (ha ha!) of what the different options are. Then they'll be able to tell you their favorites on your next trip together!!

Here's my suggestions:

MGM: Sci Fi Drive Inn
O Hanas at the Poly
Hoop De Doo at Fort Wilderness
Biergarten in Germany and Alfredo's in Italy (only if you can be seated in the main salon....the smaller side room is not to my liking)

Stroll through Mexico some hot hot mid day and have a drink and nachos by the "river" and watch the volcano.
Them's my picks for some good eats and fun times with friends.....by the way, I think you are VERY brave to go with another couple who expect to be your shadows.
