Has anyone done the dining with an Imagineer? I'm VERY interested in the experience, I went into Interactive Design to hope to become one one day! It is a bit pricy ($60/person) so my mom and I would go. Do you know if they have a set script they go off of, our is a really candid experience? I'm dying to know before we book!

My daughter and I did it, it was worth every penny. The lunch at the Brown Derby was amazing. Our imagineer told us about himself and the projects that he has worked on, then let us ask questions. We were there for quite some time while we took turns asking questions. At the end we got a nice souvenir. I would do it again.

We did it too & had the same experience. Definitely want to do it again.:thumbsup2

I've done this twice and had a wonderful time each time. It was so worth the price - app, Cobb salad, entree, & dessert plus a cool keepsake and of course 2+ hours with the Imagineer. I would highly recommend doing it.

What kind of souvenir did you guys get? That's just a bonus for me, I'd just LOVE the opportunity to speak to one of these guys (gals). Mom and I have never had the brown derby, so we're excited about that as well!

we did it in 2008 and got an signed glass plate - its really awesome, plus we got a personalized name tag as well

We did this for our honeymoon and had a great time! Our Imagineer was so nice, and I loved asking questions. At one point I think she asked what one thing we would like to do at WDW - I answered 'fly off the castle a-la Tinkerbell, for Wishes'. She then told me what spires Tink jumps off of, and asked again, with my reply being a resounding yes. I loved how she didn't just talk about what she did, but also involved everyone in the conversation!
Oh, one more bonus to this wonderful dining experience - the grapefruit cake!

and p.s. - just because the Brown Derby is semi-close to the park entrance does not mean you should wear uncomfortable 'pretty' shoes -and yes, this was my 13th trip I learned this difficult lesson..lol.
