Dining w/child turning 10 during trip (no dining plan)

While I understand that tickets and dining PLANS would be unaffected by a child turning 10 during a trip, what about dining reservations NOT covered by a dining plan? We will be staying on property and NOT purchasing a dining plan. If I make table service reservations ON or AFTER her actual birthday, will we be charged as a 10 year old or still considered a 9 yr old price since we will check in before her birthday?

Kids don't age at Disney. So she'll be 9 the entire trip as far as Disney is concerned. For everything.

It's the age at the time of check in. And really, it would only affect buffet pricing. if you're ordering off a menu anyone can order anything and it doesn't matter how old they are.

Agree with PP. It's age at time of check in and even at non DDP meals, it's not an issue and no wait staff will ask age other than check in at a buffet meal when they ask how many adults, kids??
