Dining/Transportation/Random Questions

We are staying at AKV in November and our flight lands at MCO at 5:30pm. I plan on being at the resort by 7pm and we do not have park tickets for that night.

The next day, we wil be starting out at the WWoS for the W&D 1/2 marathon Expo which opens at 10am. I plan on being there for lunch and then heading to a park.

Here's my random questions...

#1: Where is the best place to get a TIW card??? I assume I will need to make a special trip to a park (AK has morning EMH) but is there any alternative? We will not have a car so we will need to use Disney transportation.

#2: Has anyone eaten at the ESPN WWoS Grill? The TIW card is accepted there (according to the official TIW site) but the Disney website has the words "Quick Service" and "Table Service" listed...so which is it? If I need an ADR, I better get one since I bet it will be busy on the opening day of the expo.

I am working on a dining budget and, as much as I'd love to eat at Sanaa on our arrival night, I just can't do it without the TIW card. Is there any way to get the card at any location BESIDES a park or DTD? I assume no, but I thought I'd ask. I'm also trying to figure out the logistics of when and where I need to go to get the card. The option I have come up with is to get up early (before DH who will not set an alarm on vacation) and take a bus to AK by 8am. Then I can get the TIW card and hop the bus back to AKV and wake up DH. I assume we will need to take a cab to the WWoS since AKL is not a host resort for the event.

This leads to random question #3...FROM the WWoS, WHERE do the buses run?? Do they only go to resorts or will I be able to go directly to a park after we are done at the Expo?

You have to pick up the TIW card at Guest Services, either at the parks or DTD.

The ESPN Grill at WWOS is a quick service restaurant and it takes TIW. There are also some concession stands in other places and I don't think those are included in TIW. You need to go to a Guest Relations at a park or DD to get TIW. From AKV, AK is only a ten minute trip via bus.

The WWOS buses run to All-Stars, Pop Century and Caribbean Resorts and no other resorts. On event days, which it sounds like you have one, you can take your own resort bus to Studios and from there get a bus to WWOS, and then back to Studios when returning.
