I know this has been posted in the past, but my cruise is getting closer, and I am reconsidering the early seating for dining. Does any one have an opinion on what worked better? It will be me, dh, dd15, dd7 on the 4 day wonder, Dec. 1-Dec. 5. I know the early seating is at 6pm, what time is the later seating? Can I change my seating preference now that the cruise is paid in full?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Personally, we prefer early dining as dinner is not the highlight of the evening. We like to get it out of the way to enjoy the evening activities! :)

Late dining is at 8:30 and while that is probably fine for you and your teen it is generally too late for younger kids. Our DD, age 9, wants to go play in the clubs in the evenings and the one time we had late dining she would RUSH through dinner to get to the clubs. She also ate in the clubs a few nights.

You can request a dining time change ANY time, not just when your final payment is made. I would keep the early dining. It's very easy to switch to late dining but difficult to switch to early as it is the most popular.

Enjoy your cruise! :)

Can you switch after the first night, or is it too late once you've attended one or the other times?

We requested early dining. We are early dinner eaters at home - 530/6pmish

A lot fewer young todlers at the late seating if noise is a concern to you during dinner.

this must also be the reason they try separating the younger kids from the older from the nokid families in the 3 different restaurants
DH will have a fit if we are dining with a ton of little toddlers!!
