OK, so our wives have let 8 of us go on a Guys only WDW Golf weeekend. :rotfl: I still don't know how we pulled it off. :rotfl2:

We are staying 3 nights at the BWV. We currently have dinner planned for Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki on Friday night. I think I would like to have one more reservation. This is where I would love some suggestions. I am a WDW veteran, but just haven't tried everything yet. Keep in mind that the restaurant MUST serve alcohol, so the Magic Kingdom is out!!

Thanks in advance. :thumbsup2

Wow, that's cool! I'll bet you'd enjoy ESPN. DH and DS ate there, said the food was good and the portions very big (and I know they serve alcohol). I'd better not tell DH what you're doing though-he'll get ideas. He golfs every day of every trip as it is, but I've somehow convinced him that only I know the way to get tee times so he has to go with me!

We will definitely be hitting ESPN. One of my favorites. But I don't think you can make reservations.
Smart thinking on the tee time thing with your husband!! :rotfl2:

The Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club. :thumbsup2

That one is at the top of my list. Especially since I don't have DW,DD,and DS to pay for this time. :teeth:

Have you done Biergarten? That would be fun for a big group of men.

Now that sounds like a GREAT idea for our group especially. Thats one of those restaurants that my DW has no interest in going to. This might be my only chance. :scratchin

Another steakhouse to consider would be Shula's at the Dolphin hotel. They have great steaks and seafood. The wine list is wonderful and a full bar.

Spirit of Aloha dinner show, maybe? You can definitely get alcohol. I like watching the men in grass skirts dancing, so 8 men might like the girls?

Yachtsman is definitely the best choice. After a round at Eagle Pines (or Palm or Magnolia or Osprey) - back to the BWV and a quick change you can head on over to the Crews Cup Lounge while you wait for your table. You can't go wrong with the Filet it is "fork tender". After dinner back to the Crews Cup or...... You guys don't have room for one more do you?

I agree with ESPN and Yachtsman both being great places.

My DH golfed several times on our last trip and being a single player, he was put with 3 other guys each time. One time, they highly suggested Big River Grille to him due to the beers. Now, we didn't think the place was over the top great but it was affordable food and they brew their own beer. Plus you can usually walk right in. They also suggested ESPN and he hit that later the next day and enjoyed it. He went to watch a game while my mom and I shopped around Epcot. =)

Have fun!

:thumbsup2 My husband went with 5 other guys and they ALL rave about their night at O'Hanas!! Said that would be the only meal they "plan" next time!! PS - They were also on a golf trip!

my first thought was lecellier... then i was thinking hoop dee doo revue w/the unlimited beer/wine/sangria and fried chicken (what more could you possibly ask for?! LOL!)... biergarten is a GREAT suggestion! concourse steakhouse is a "manly" restaurant too!

wherever you eat, you are sure to ENJOY!! hit a hole in one for the disboarders! :)

Are you trying t ofind something in the parks or would you prefer to stay outside the parks one day?

DH would say Marrakesh 1.) Great Food 2.) Belly dancer!

My first suggestion would be Yachtsman Steakhouse. We have had amny wonderful meals there and the service is great. Another good choice would be Flying Fish or Jiko. Jiko has the largest South African wine list outside of South Africa.

my dh loves O'Hana because he's a major carnivore and it's all you can eat. Also, the drinks there are STRONG!
