currently have the DDP, we are paying to upgrade to this from the free dining (QS). so i waited and tried to get input from everyone traveling with us(dd is 16 and my other DD and her BF), and well lets just say they were not much help then, but now have a few opinions. we are traveling Dec 8-15/16 travel home will depend on flights but will not be on dining plan that night.
current reservations are:
12/9 Chef de France
12/10 Liberty tree(Lunch)
12/11 San Angel Inn
12/12 none yet
12/13 BOG(Lunch QS)
12/14 Edison(Dinner@8 as kids plan universal that day)
not sure if i should wait and hope to find something closer to when we leave or when i make FP. thoughts are on trying to get Teppan Edo, Via Napoli or Tutto Italiano. we have a hopper so that helps.

We like Via Napoli a lot and i think it would make a good addition to your selection. Raglan Road in DS is also good and your kids might like it.

Haven't been to most of your choices. I love Liberty Tree and we are trying BOG for lunch this trip as we did not enjoy it for breakfast. Other suggestions I have for good use of your DDP is 'Ohana or one of the Fantasmic Packages if you plan to do that show. A good QS credit in AK seems to be the new family style pizza meal.

currently don't have any character meals-not sure that is what they would want, but i still like them. can't believe i waited to reservations-should have just made them and the dropped what i didn't want later/closer to trip time.

You probably already know, but Liberty Tree for lunch is off the menu. The family style meal is for dinner. I don't know which you prefer but wanted to ensure you were aware. There are a ton of great eating options at Disney Springs. The Edison looks interesting. You may want to look into Homecomin as well as the reviews have been great. San Angel in is in a beautiful setting but the reviews are typically pretty bland. Both Via Napoli and Teppan Edo would be great choices if you wanted to replace it.

The family style is offered at lunch also but you also can opt to have off the menu. Its kind of like WCC.

We like Teppan Edo. Food is good and your DDs will enjoy the preparation of the food & entertaining “show” when the chef prepares it

i would love Teppan, but right now all the is open is one night and at 8:50 i think i will stalk that one for sure. thanks
