Dining rotation schedule?

Is there any way to know your rotation schedule ahead of time, or can you only find out once you get to the terminal?

You can ask what the three options are and request a specific one, but you’ll find out if your request was granted when you check-in at the terminal. There’s no way to find out in advance what rotation you were assigned.

1st DCL in October. Is there a reason you would request a certain order? 2 dinners at Animator's? We are on a 4 night so should I ask my TA to request we have have Animator's the 1st night? Do they do different things at Animator's on each night?

On a 4-nights, you would not get a special show on your second night there since all guests would not get to experience it. There is no reason to request a special rotation unless you dislike/like a specific ambiance, but that would be hard to know never having been there in the past. Most people don't bother requesting a rotation and do absolutely fine.

I personally like requesting Aminator’s the first night if on the Magic or Wonder and Pirate Night if on the Dream or Fantasy. Just sets the mood!!

I may be missing your point for requesting Animator's the first night, but the restaurant you go to on the first night is not repeated on the last (unless things have changed since the last time I was on a 4 night). Each time I've cruised a 4 night, the restaurant you dined at on night 2 is repeated on night 3. Apologies if you just wanted to start at Animator's and didn't care which was repeated or if something has changed.

7+ night cruise, yes. Shorter cruises, no. The only thing that was different for us on our last 4 night Dream was that the Animator's Palate videos were pirate themed for the 3rd night, as opposed to the normal video screens on the 2nd night.
