Saturday May 22nd
Les Chefs de France
- this was amazing in my mind, we walked up to the podium on a saturday night at 6:30 and were seated within 5 minutes. Mind you the table wasn't the greatest but we were happy to get into one of our favorite restaurants with little wait and no PS
- I started with the French Onion Soup, which this time was a bit different than my last visit here in August. In my opinion it was better because there was a nicely golden brown layer of cheese on the top and what seemed like several layers of bread throughout along with lots of delicious chicken and redwine, onion infused broth, with less onions than I remembered.
- My parents each started with an order of escargot and gods were they yummy! I know I know its snails, but once you get past that and realize the are dripping in garlicy, parsely butter which is incredible to dip the warm crusty bread in
- My parents had the French Onion Soup as their main dish and i went for the Gratin of Macaroni- Lemme tell you, the serving of Macaroni is huge, its actually a rigatoni pasta, tossed in a gryure cream sauce and topped with tons of golden brown gyrure on top. It was cheese overload and WAY too filling to have in addition to the French Onion Soup
Our server, was ok, He didn't have too much personality but He refilled our glasses and was quite attentive.

Columbia Harbor House (Lunch)
- This is our favorite counter service spot at the Magic Kingdom. We find tat it is the ultimate comfort food for us and just simple and fast.
- My Dad and I had the Chicken Finger Baskets, which IMHO are THE best chicken fingers anywhere on property
- My mom tried the Garden Galley Salad, or something along those lines which was OUT OF THIS WORLD. It was tender crisp mixed greens, with chunclks of fresh pineapple, yummy feta cheese, chicken and pecans all tossed in what tasted like a light oil and vinegar dressing mixed with pineapple juice. It was so good that we returned and had it for dinner a few night later.

Le Cellier (Dinner)
- we fell in love with this restaurant on our last trip and couldn't wait to return
- after hearing all the wonderful reviews of the cheese soup I decided that i HAD to try it and GOOD LORD were the reviews right, we nearly licked the bowl clean, it was hearty and warm and delicious, had bits of bacon all the way through it and was PERFECT with the pretzel bread
- we all had the 7oz filet, but were sadden to find out the had changed from a red wine reduction to a maple bbq sauce. I love any bbq sauce but its not really my parents kind of thing
- we still loved our steaks and were so full that we could have been rolled out of the restaurant

Monday May 24th
Wolfgang Puck Express - DTD Marketplace (Lunch)
- we love Wolfgang Puck's restaurants and especially his pizzas so we thought that we'd give this place a try
- we ordered one four cheese and one margarita pizza, both were amazing, the crust was thin and crisp just how we like it. It was a nice dry crust, not oily or greasy and the blend of the cheeses on the four cheese was delicious, especially the goat cheese.
- we also got a side of Wolf's herbed fries and they were yummy as well
Food B
Pepper Market Takeout (Dinner)
- we couldnt figure out what we wanted to do for dinner so we opted on getting something quick and easy from the Pepper Market
- the cheeseburgers looked great so we got three to go, unfortunately the fries left much to be desired
- it was quick and filling and that was all we were looking for that night

Tusker House (Breakfast)
- I had heard great things about the Cinnamon rolls at the Tusker house so we decided to give it a try for breakfast after our ride on Kilamanjaro Safaris
- I had one of the Cinnamon Rolls, Dad had a sticky bun and mom a cherry Danish
- They said the coffee was awful, tasted burnt and not appealing at all
- We went all the way out to the back outdoor seating of the restaurant and it was so peaceful, until we heard the shatter of dropped plates and glasses and voices talking to one another. We realized that Disney was pumping sound effects from the windows of a supposed Boarding House out back. It was so cool!
Food: B
Flame Tree BBQ (Lunch)
- this is our favorite place to have lunch in Animal Kingdom and we thought wed give the meal vouchers a try
- for like $13 you get a drink an entrée and then a coupon for a drink and popcorn OR an ice cream
- what was even better is you can substitute bottled water for the soft drinks
- so we got three rib platters and added on a basket of fries and one of onion rings (in hindsight is was way too much food and we barely touched the fries or rings)
- It was great, I love the sweet and smoky bbq sauce that they have there
- Was very filling and on our way out we grabbed the ice cream (a drumstick for Dad, a Mickey Bar for me) and my mom got popcorn
Food: A
Columbia Harbor House (dinner)
- we rarely go to the Magic Kingdom in the evenings and now I remember why, its nuts!!
- Weve never seen CHH so busy. We grabbed to garden galley salads and 2 bottles of water and split them.
- It was simple, quick and filing and for once, healthy!
