Dining Reviews onsite/offsite for Seaworld

We will be spending one day at Seaworld and I would love to dine at a nice sit down restaurant onsite or offsite. Please give me your reviews on great places you've eaten at and recommend. It will be myself, DH, and 4 kids. Thanks!

I haven't tried any of the new places in the Key West area yet, but I've always found the food at SW to be among the best themepark food. Dine with Shamu could be a good option for you, or the Shark Grill.

In the area close to SWthere are plenty of excellent choices. A favourite of mine nearby is Bahama Breeze, but it does get busy. Decent food, pretty good price and great atmosphere. It's always hard to quantify "nice" for someone else as dining is such a subjective experience and cost comes into things as well. There are many TGIFriday/Tony Roma/Red Lobster/Olive Garden ( my favourite in this price range) style places along I-Drive. If you want a little more pricey and up market there are some good steak houses etc close by. Universal's citywalk is not too far away, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville has good food, reasonable price and great atmosphere, if you want to "kick it up a notch" there is Emeril's restaurant there as well. A sister restaurant to that is Tchoup chop in the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal, I thought this was outstanding. Very good food, great decor/atmosphere, service was 1st class and the price didn't make me wince (too much ) . With 4 kids a workable option may be The Trattoria in the Portifino bay hotel, they had a pretty good Italian buffet when we were there with a lot of pasta etc as well as kids options. Feeding kids at a nice restaurant isn't always easy and IMHO the buffet style often works well with them as they can try something new if they are adventurous, but if they don't like it there are usually some childhood favourites to fall back on.

What sort of cost are you looking to incur?

Ummm, For our family size of 6, and one of my children is only 2 and don't eat much, will probably share my food with her. So i would like to spend no more than $100 on Dinner a night. Thanks for all the great info.

In that case (if everyone likes Italian) I'd think something like The Olive Garden is likely to be your best best. I would guess that cost of food for your party should come in around $50-70 (they do a choice of soup or salad included with most entrees) with tip,a couple of beers,cocktails or glasses of wine you should still get change from your $100.

IMHO in the price range it's the nicest/best quality restaurant in the area.

I have to second Bahama Breeze. It is my favorite restaurant and we make it a point to eat there at least once when we are in Orlando.

Their kids menu also has a variety and the kids string french fries are to die for, lol!

We tend to sometimes just sit outside if the weather is nice and order a bunch of appetizers instead of waiting for a seat inside.

Otherwise, there's always the chain restaurants and some offer kids eat free with a paying adult, like Tony Roma's, etc. It can't hurt to also check out restaurant.com for gift certificates at 50% off.
