Dining Reviews April 13-21 Just Back!

I really appreciate your reviews! Most of our planned ADRs and CS meals match yours so I was glad to see what you thought. My only problem is that I was just about to cancel our CP ADR and book Coral Reef instead, now I can't decide! I thought my kids might be too old for Pooh but yours are about the same age.........ack! Indecision! Thanks a bunch for taking the time to post your reviews!

We have always enjoyed the CP. We went to Coral Reef last year and I left with the same feeling as previous poster. It was good, but not the best of our trip. I was a little disappointed. We are trying Le Cellieur this year at Epcot.

It's all a matter of taste! The only place my DS 12.5 wants to go to while at WDW is to "eat with Pooh"! But, he's always been a big Pooh fan.
We did the breakfast recently at DL because we were told that Pooh sometimes shows up. The food was excellent and DS did get to see Pooh and get a picture with him. He really wasn't interested in any other pictures with characters. DD5 was pretty excited to see him, but then again, she was very excited to see ANY and ALL characters! :lmao:

Thanks for the reviews I've booked most of the same places so it's good to know you liked them!

My DD's will be 9 and 11 this year and the 11year old wants to celebrate her Bday at CP so they're never too old!

Be sure to tell them to note in on the adr that it is her b-day and they will bring her a cupcake and sing to her. When we were there, someone was having a birthday and they brought out a cupcake and sang and eeyore stood there at the table.:)

thanks for the review:goodvibes

Thanks for your reviews - you say your DH had the smores at Le cellier. Are they still ont he kids menu then? I thought, for some reason, they weren't available any more :confused3

They were on the adult menu. The were not available on the kids menu. I could have ordered them one and paid oop, but they were happy with their icecream sundae.:)

I think that dhpirate: will probably be very happy with a small ice cream sundae & let our 8 yr old nephew have the Smores:love1: ...Are they like the smores we had in girl scouts or some special Disney kind?

They did not look like normal smores. The marshmallows were on a stick. I did not taste it, but they looked really tasty.

Has anyone eaten at Jiko in Animal Kingdom? I have ADR's booked but I'm not sure the family will like the food.

Thanks for the great reviews! I made an ADR for Kona for Sept for DH, DD4, and I, since I found the meat at Ohana to be dry and unappetizing the last two times we tried it. I do love the shrimp & the wings, though. Are the wings at Ohana similar to the Kona ones? The great reviews at Kona won me over. Is the food that much better than Ohana's? I also noticed the Kona entrees both you and your DH chose are ones that I have been mulling over myself. Which was better- the steak or the seafood? Hopefully you can help me choose...cause I can't decide!

Well, I thought that they were both equally good. My meat at Ohana was not dry, it was actually very tender and juicy. At Kona, I did not taste my dh's seafood dishes, however the steak was amazing! It was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I could cut it with my fork and it was so juicy! Also I thought the wings at Kona were a little better, but they are similar in taste. I am going to do both on our next trip though. If you have never eaten at Kona, stick with it, I think you will be pleased!:) Also order the white chocolate cheesecake for dessert!

What did you have to eat at the Studio Catering Company (Flatbread Grill)? I just checked out their menu, and it all looks pretty good!

Thanks!

Thanks!

Myself and dh had the grilled chicken with rice and beans. It was yummy! And for dessert I had the marble cheesecake, which was also good. My dd9 had the chicken wrap on the kids menu and it was huge, and dd5 had the pb and j. It was a great cs meal. :)

Thanks for the reviews!

Glad to hear nice things about LTT Dinner. We had lunch there last visit and it was delicious however the service was quite slow.

We'll be trying out the dinner this time!

Great review!

You mentioned the pineapple sirlion you had at Kona, I coudn't find it on the menu. Is it an addition to the menu?

Thanks so much:)
