Dining Reviews 5/26 to 5/30

Hi,

Here are some dining reviews from a great trip!! Cast: Me, in my mid 20's & mom

5/26 BOMA, AKL dinner/buffet: Awesome!! Had a 5 p.m. PS. Got a seat in 10 to 15 minutes. The food was great the Chece was good, the Zerba Domes were the best!!! Would diffenently go again. Price: moderate & Worth it.
5/27 Kona Cafe breakfast: PS: 10:45 a.m. & got there early & was seated right away. Wasn't that impressed. Felt pressure to hurry up & eat. Food was just average nothing special. Don't think we will go back. Price: moderate
5/27: Garden View Tea @ GF: Had a 4:30 p.m. PS. Got there a little early & was seated right away. We both had the Bunckingham Palace. It was really good & very relaxing. Will go back! Price Moderate
5/27: Chefs de France/Dinner: 7:30 p.m. PS. Was seated right away & fell in love. Just had salads & dessert but it was good. Will return. Need to remember to try for a 7 p.m. PS next time. Missed Lumanations! Price: Moderate
5/28: BOMA Breakfast/Buffett 9:45 a.m. PS & seated within 5 to 10 minutes. Wonderful! Will return. Price: Moderate
5/28 Prime Time, MGM! 5:50 p.m. PS & was seated in 5 to 10 minutes. Had the Salmon and it was great!!! Mom had the fried chicken. Good as usual. And we split a chocolate sundae!! Everything was Yummy!!! Will return Price: moderate
5/29 Whispering Canyon @ WL: Lots of fun! Went here on the 30th as well. I love the Katsup thing!!
5/29 Artist Point @ WL. Had a 5:45 p.m. PS & was seated soon after opening. We both had the chef's choice for $47 which included soup: portabello, YUM! a salad, a main dish, we both had the buffalo!!! Very yummy!! Desert: coffee 2 ways which was a coffee creme bulee & coffee bread pudding. Yum again!!! Price: over $100 and that included a glass of wine but it was worth it.

Nice reviews! We ate at Artist Point and had the Chef's Selection too...a few weeks ago. We also thought it was wonderful. Isn't that soup to die for?? My dh had the buffalo and I had the filet. YUMMY YUMMY...I was SOOO full but managed to also have the Coffee 2 ways and dh had the Artist Point Cobbler. EXCELLENT!! I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food....

Definately a MUST DO for all of our trips!

Enjoyed reading your reviews, Allison! We're trying the Tea at the Grand Floridian next week for the first time and I'm looking forward to it. Was the tea served in the Garden View Lounge? Someone posted recently about the GF Lobby going through some redecorating? or something and that their tea was served in another room. Did you notice redecorating going on in the lobby?

Yes, the tea was in the garden view lounge! I just saw something about the redo of the GF lobby & I didn't see anything being done or getting started!! Hope you have a great time!!

Thanks for sharing! We will be eating at Boma for the first time in in three weeks! I'm glad to hear so many positive reviews! We will also be eating at 50's Prime Time and Whispering Canyon! I am even more excited now!
