Me 31 - lover of all things Disney and swears to not be a DisneyGeek. Pretends to be an adventurous eater, but isn't. Hates when foods touch and eats with eyes too.
DD/Sweetpea 9 - lover of all things Disney as well. Not to adventurous of an eater. Doesn't like "yucky" things, but is willing to give things a try with a "polite bite".
My Best Friend, Netto 30 - first trip to WDW, and hasn't been to DL in 10 years. But willing to give Disney a chance. Also not an adventurous eater, but will eat things that are new.

In my unpacking frenzy, I misplaced the reciepts so I am going to go on memory and guesstimates. Sorry.

11/27 - Day 1 Arrival Day

We checked into the POP very early and we were in our room by 7:30am. After dropping our carryons and brushing our teeth we decided to head out to the parks but to stop off at Everything POP to eat.

Breakfast
Everything POP food court
Me - Breakfast Wrap with potatoes
Sweetpea - Bagel with 2 cream cheeses
Netto - Breakfast Wrap with potatoes

Also bought 2 mugs. (Yes there were 3 of us, but im not a big soda drinker and I dont drink coffee or things with caffiene either so its not worth it to get one for myself. But yes, i did have a few sips or two from the sweetpea's mug over the week. No flames please.)

Everything was good and tastey. Or we were just hungry from the long flight over and all. The "wraps" were basically breakfast burritos with egg, bacon and cheese in them. They were made after we ordered them and were hot. The potatoes that came with them were ok. And by the time we got to the table were a bit luke warm. I would definately get the wrap again, but the potatoes I can take them or leave them. Especially since the ketchup tasted a bit vinegary (is that a word?) Friend said she really enjoyed the wrap as well. Would order it again. Sweetpea's bagel was well, a bagel. She said it was a bit hard to bite. Not that it was hard, just hard for her to bite. Told her we should have toasted it. She didn't want it toasted though. She ate it and knowing how the sweetpea likes bagels, she'd order it again. Both mugs were filled with Coke and refilled by both of them a few times before we headed out for the day.
Approx $28

Snack
MGM ice cream cart
Sweetpea - Mickey Bar :mickeybar
Netto - Ice cream Sandwich
Me - Bottle Water

Everyone was happy with their choice. Sweetpea lives for Mickey Bars. Nothing special about the snacks. Sat on a bench waiting for the parade as we ate.
Approx $8

Dinner
50's Prime Time Cafe
Netto - Fried Chicken, Beer
Sweetpa and I - Split Fried Chicken, Root beer for her and Sprite for me
All - split Smores for dessert

Cousin Marie was our server. She was very nice and friendly. We told her it was our first time to the restaurant and she went easy on us. There were other tables in the area that were more loud and teased much more than ours, but we were happy with that. Cousin Marie did a great job and was not over the top. When we were served, the sweetpea and mine were split in the kitchen. It was nice that they did that for us. The dinners were yummy! We all loved the chicken. It was done perfectly and was so tastey. The mashed potatoes were to die for. Netto and I loved them, the sweetpea didn't care for the potatoes as much as we did. She lives the dressing her nana makes for her at home. The green beans were good as well. Lots of flavor and cooked just right. Sweetpea didn't want to eat hers because they looked funny. Cousin Marie gave her some hassle over that since she wanted dessert. Sweetpea gave them a polite bite in front of Cousin Marie and she said that was good enough and brought out the Smores shortly after that. YUMMY! Smores were better than I thought they would be. Very good over all. Would definately order the same thing again. All agreed. Atmosphere was adroable and everyone was extremely friendly. Liked our server a lot especially her line about "no worries tonight girls, I have the keys to dad's liquor cabinet". We plan on going back here again.
Appox $50 with tip

Side note - there was a very unruley child at the table next to us. He was about 5 or so and just not behaving. I got the idea of playing along with the servers and such, but he was just being BAD! Knocking silverware onto the floor, being rude to the server, jumping on the seats and it went on and on and his parents didnt see any probs with it. Finally his server told him to stand in the corner (she was in character, but I knew she meant it) he yelled no and started stomping around more. Ugh. There is a difference from playing off the servers and just being naughty. He was the latter. Didn't ruin anything for us though.

We also had some snacks we had brought with us in our pack throughout the day. Mostly fruit snacks, slim jims, crackers and water.

Ok need to go hit up a sale. Will give the rest of the reviews later.

Breakfast
In Room

We woke up early to take advantage of EMH at Epcot. So we had a quick breakfast in the room. Pop tarts, doughnuts, cookies, and candy (hey, we are on vacation). Sweetpea and Netto ran down to fill their mugs up while I got our stuff ready for the day. Finished up eating and getting ready then headed out to the park. Made one more stop at the food court to top off the mugs. Netto had coke and the sweetpea had a coke icee, yes I let her have it for breakfast.
Appox - nothing. Mug was paid for already and food was brought from home.

Lunch
Yorkshire County Fish Shop
Netto - Fish and Chips, Coke
Sweetpea and I - shared fish and chips

This meal was really good. We found a table by the water and had a great time. The food was hot and yummy. Chips (fries) were good. Crisp but not hard. We finished all the chips that were served. Thought about getting another serving of them to share, but decided to save room for something else later. The fish was really good. Not to greesy and had a good taste. No funky after taste like you get with some fried food. After eating a bit of it kinda wished I wasn't sharing. lol It was very good. Would definately go back here again.
Apporx - $15

Snack
Boulangerie Patisserie
Sweetpea - Chocolate Mousse
Netto - Cream Puff, coffee
Me - Creme Brulee

Yummy. A great choice for a mid day snack. Although we all got something different, we shared everything. The chocolate mousse was to die for. It was soooooo good. I wanted much more than the few bites I had. The sweetpea was in heaven. The cream puff was good. Im not a big fan so it just didn't do anything for me. It was good though. The creme brulee was good as well. I have had better. But it was good. But I think nothing would be able to out do the chocolate mousse at that table. YUMMY!!!
Approx - $10

Dinner -
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Sweetpea, Netto, Me - Skillet
Birthday cake

This meal was really good. We all got the skillet and we were glad we did. Everything was really tastey and cooked just right. The salad was nothing special and the cornbread was good. Not great though. I have had better cornbread. But it was not bad. Coleslaw was ok, as was the corn and the beans. The chicken, sausage and pulled pork were tastey. I put BBQ sauce on the pulled pork and it was yummy that way. The ribs were my fave. Im a rib kinda gal and these were good. I live and die for good BBQ and these did not dissapoint. Our server was a lot of fun but not over the top which we liked. Sweetpea participated in the wooden pony race and since we were celebrating her birthday that night they let her pass out the certificates and had the entire restaurant sing to her. She loved it. At the end of the meal the server brought out the cake I had pre ordered. It was perfect. Once again everyone sang to her and although it took a while, she blew out the candles. (she really ponders her candle wish) We were so stuffed from the skillet that we did not eat the cake and took it back to the resort with us. The antics throughout the place were a lot of fun and we really enjoyed everything about this place. We plan on returning here. Although we liked the skillet, we will probably order off the menu next time.
Approx - $95 with tip

Side note - just wanted to let everyone in on how you can take the girl out of the ghetto, but can't take the ghetto out of the girl. (even though I dont live in the ghetto, hahaha). Ok, so we get back to the room with the cake and realize that is needs to be kept cold. We had no need for a fridge so I didn't order one. And it seemed silly to get one for just one night. So i Maguyver-ed a way to keep it cold. I had everyone brush their teeth and clear the sink. We filled it with ice cubes from the machine and then put a target plastic bag over it. Kinda make a hole for the cake to fit. But first we took the cake out of the box, kept the doilie under it and then put the ice bag wrapped around the cake from under it. Placed that all on the target bag in the sink filled with ice. We left a note telling mousekeeping to not throw out. Totally ghetto I know, but it worked perfectly and we had cake the next day. Hope you all find it as funny as we did.

Breakfast
In room

Slept in and had stuff we had brought with us (pop tarts and such) and used the refillable mugs. Headed over to the AK in the afternoon.

Lunch
Flame Tree
Netto - Turkey breast sandwich and side of onion rings
Sweetpea - salad with ranch and fries
Me - Smoked beef sandwich

We had eaten here before and really liked it so choose to eat here again. Along with knowing that we would sit on the patio and be able to see the parade as it went by. Everything was very fresh and tastey. Sweetpea didn't like the ranch that came with the salad so she didnt finish it. Netto enjoyed her lunch and the onion rings were good. My sandwich was good but a little wet. Im not crazy about wet bread. Patio was relaxing and gave a good view of the parade. We will eat here again.
Approx - $25

Dinner
Boma

We enjoyed this meal a lot. But I will say it didn't live up to all the hype that is out there about it. I expected it to be amazing and to walk out of there saying "WOW". But we didn't. I was glad we tried it, but probably wont be heading back. Everything tasted ok, but it just wasn't what we expected. It was different and gave us a chance to sample new things that we would not have tried otherwise. We couldn't figure out why everyone is so crazy over this place. Prime rib was great though. Desserts were very yummy but I thought that the Zebra domes were not that good. It was a neat experice and the service was good as was the food. But it wasn't all that and I expected more from how everyone raves about it. Remember, these are just our opinions. Dont not try it because I didn't give it top marks like the rest. Give it a try yourself.
Approx $75

We grab a quick snack in our room before heading out.

Breakfast/Lunch
Chef Mickey

We had a late seating for breakfast and it worked out great. This was our first trip to here and we loved it. The food was yummy. What we enjoyed was the breakfast pizza, the goofy lasagna, cheesy potatoes and of course the Mickey waffles (mmmmm). The character interaction was great. The place was pretty empty at that time so we had lots of time with the characters. They came by the table a few times and we were able to get a few group shots with them as well. The service was good and they even brought out a special placemat and cupcake for the sweetpea. We had tons of fun here and ate like the food was going away for good. I would highly recommed this place to everyone.

Dinner
Casey's Corner
Netto - Hot dog and diet coke
Sweetpea - corn dog nuggets and split a coke with me
Me - Hot dog
we all split an order of fries

We staked out a spot on the crub for Spectro and I ran over to grab us dinner. We ate our dinner on the curb, practically in the gutter. (yeah, we are ghetto once again) Hot dogs were good. Nothing special. The corn dog nuggets were very tastey. The fries were ok, but what made them good was the cheese sauce from the fixins bar. mmmmm I wouldnt say that this was a good place or a bad place. If in the same situation of waiting for a parade we would eat here again as it was good. But I wouldn't go out of my way for it at all.

Snacks
None in the park, but ransacked our snack bag in the room. Gotta love lays stax and famous amos. Went to bed with full tummys after a very long day.

Will finish the other days later.

DUH......i just realized I didn't finish my reviews.

We slept in and had breakfast in the room. Stopped by Everything POP to fill our mugs with slushies before heading to Epcot. Since we slept in late and had breakfast late we skipped lunch and had a very early dinner.

Dinner
Cantina de San Angel
Netto - Plato Combinacion, coke
Sweetpea and I shared - Cantina Nachos, churro, side of guacamole and cheese

Food here was ok. Friend picked this place since she loves mexican food. But she will eat any mexican food no matter how bad it is. I tend to be more picky about it since I get good mexican food in my home. Her plate looked ok and she said it was really good and she enjoyed it. Our nachos were ok. They needed lots more cheese and the guacamole (which we had to buy). Everything on them seemed to come from a can. The churro wasn't good either. And the sweetpea was really looking forward to it too. Sweetpea loves churros and eats them all the time at DL, but we were unable to find them anywhere but here. And we were disapointed with it. The other prob here was the black beans. I am just not a black bean eater. They look nasty. We aren't in a hurry to go back there.
Approx - $25

Snack
Kringla Bakeri og Cafe

Netto - Cookie
Sweetpea - Cinnamon roll
Me - School Bread

This was one of our fave snacks all week. The cookie was just a cookie. Friend didn't want to be too adventurous. The cinnamon roll was good. The frosting was different though, It would have been better if it was warm. But it was good. The school bread was unvelievable. Sooooooo yummy. I want to thank whoever told me about it. Everyone loved it. We definately will make a point to stop back here and get the school bread. It was the best.
Approx - $7

Up early and out to MK for EMH so just a quick snack in the room and then to fill our mugs with slushies.

Breakfast
Main Street Bakery

Netto - Crumb cake, coffee
Sweetpea - Cinnamon roll
Me - Croissant sandwich

This was just ok. Crumb cake had a odd taste and the topping was strange. Friend said shes had better at Starbucks. And it didn't look too fresh. Cinnamon roll was tastey and gooey. Very yummy. Sweetpea wanted to lick the plate since there was frosting left on it. The croissant was warm and fresh. But the cheese tasted a bit waxie. It was still good. Would eat here again but wouldnt go out of our way.
Approx - $15

Lunch
ABC Commissary
Netto - Cheeseburger, fries, coke
Sweetpea - kids fish and chips, coke
Me - Cheesburger, fries, sprite

Lunch here was alright. Cheeseburgers were cheeseburgers. They weren't all that hot though. The cheese was hardly melted. But they were ok. The fries were really good. Warm and tasty. Fish was good too. But the portion was very stingy, even for a kid. The service here was not good. CM behind the counter was a bit nasty and rude. I would still go back here though.
Approx - $20

Dinner
Earl of Sandwich
Netto - The Full Montagu
Sweetpea - Cannonballs
Me - Chinese Chicken salad
Cousin A (netto's cousin) - 2 Cannonballs

This was one of our fave CS. It was yummy, yummy, yummy! Everything was tastey and fresh. We loved it all. We definately plan on going back here again and again. We sat outside while the magician and carolers performed. The line looks crazy long, but it moved very fast. (I have read a few reviews where they skipped here because of the long line, dont.) A great place with good food.
Approx- Cousin A treated so I have no idea. What a sweetie he was.

Snack
Ghirardelli
Shared - Hot fudge sundae

How could we not stop here and have a treat? It was good. Sweetpea really loved it. But what kid wouldn't love some hot fudge? Of course we will go back here.
Approx - $5

Got up early and had breakfast in the room. Made it over to AK for EMH.

Lunch
Everything POP
Netto - Chicken Strips and fries
Sweetpea - Chicken strips, chill fries to share
Me - Meatball sub

Everything was good here. Nothing to complain about except the chilli tasted odd. Not bad, just different. Not what im used to on fries. Oh, and sweetpea said they had icky ranch. That alone could ban the place. We liked it there though and will eat there again.
Approx - $20

Dinner
'Ohana

This was our fave of the entire week. We loved it so much we were mad we didn't plan to eat here twice. We all liked the wonton strips, but the peanut sauce was my fave. Netto liked the greenish one. Salad was ok, so were the veggies. Potatoes were very good. We ate the entire plate of them. Sweetpea really enjoyed them. Shrimp was good (i finished off the plate when the others were done) and the wings were tastey too. Dinner could have ended there and we all would have been happy. But then came the meats......yum! We voted the pork to be the best. Even sweetpea liked it. The beef came in second. Sausage just wasn't happening for me though. And neither was the turkey. Netto didn't like the turkey either.....maybe it was because she told me the "chicken" tasted funny. lol We were pretty stuffed and didnt get seconds on anything. While we ate, sweetpea participated in the limbo, the coconut race, and hula. She loved it. When we thought we were going to bust, they brought out dessert. YUMMY! I normally dont like bread pudding but this was very very good. And the sauce was to die for. We joked that we should pour some on our arm so we could lick it later while waiting for our bus. lol Very good. They also brought out a cupcake and sang to the sweetpea. While we were finishing up, the Water Pagent was going on outside the windows. That was a nice treat too. I would definately recommend eating here. We loved it and will make it a must do for every trip from now on.
Approx - $75

Snack
Everything POP
All - Mickey Bars

We got a couple of Mickey bars to take back to the room to eat just when the clock struck midnight. At midnight would officially be the sweetpeas 10th birthday and Mickey Bars were requested. It was a nice treat and you can't go wrong with a Mickey bar.
Approx - $10

We were up and out the door by 4am so we just had a quick snack in the room to hold us till the ME bus took us to MCO.

We had a very yummy time! Any questions, ask away.
