Our anniversary
Breakfast - ABC Commisary at MGM Studios
I have to say I am glad that they started this. We used to go to Starring Rolls Bakery, but never was enough. This was super, my DH and I each got the scrambled egg platter and DS got the kids egg platter. We were stuffed
Dinner - We finally got to experience some of the Food & Wine Festival
We tried:
Taco de Pollo al Carbon (grilled chicken taco) - Mexico (along with a fiesta rita...yum!!) The taco was just eh IMO
Guinness Beef Stew - Ireland and my FAVORITE!!
Olive bread pizza and baked ziti with sasuage and mushrooms - Italy. Pretty good
Lobster Corn Chowder and Cheddar Crab Cake with slaw and Mustard Sauce - USA and both were Excellent!
Nagoya Terriyaki Wings - Japan. My DH said they were yummy, I can not eat chicken or any meat for that matter off of the bone.
Beef Kabob - Morocco - DH liked them
Cheddar Cheese Soup and Honey Maple Glazed Salmon with pecans - Canada...YUM!!!
Mini Gyros - Greece, DH said they were good
We finished off the night watching Illuminations and enjoying 2 amazing desserts from Boulangerie Patiessere. I can not remember what DH had but DS and I "split" (he was done after 2 bites
..Im splitting with him all the time
) this incredible chocolate mousse thing.
Wednesday, October 13
Breakfast - Crystal Palace
This was our first time here. It was very good and we like the omlets. I was getting a little tired of going to 1900 Park Fare for omlets. We had a real nice server. We did the Family Magic Tour afterwards and it was a lot of fun.
Lunch -
The boys just got a corn dog and a meatball sandwich on the boardwalk. I enjoyed some alone time and went to MGM Studios for the afternoon.
Dinner - 50's Prime Time Cafe
We love it here. Well, my DH and I do. The first time we went on our last trip in April, our server called DS Spanky. He didn't like that, so now, as we check in at the podium, I have to request "please do not call our son a silly name" Whatever ya gotta do to get through a meal right? Right. I had the NE Clam Chowder soup and a vanilla milkshake to start. DH got the meatloaf and I got the pot roast. Anyone who read the first part of the report and would like to venture a guess on what Matt got
Noodles.
Snack - Ice Cream at Beaches & Cream
This was a really special time for us. We got to meet some special new friends of ours. We all had ice cream sundae's and for the first time I got to see a table try to tackle a Kitchen Sink. WOW!!
Thursday, October 14
Breakfast - Cinderella's Royal Table.
I just love it. We have been here many times before. I get just as excited as all of the other princesses when they walk into the castle, and I just get goosebumps when Cinderella comes to our table.
Lunch - We went to visit Saratoga Springs Resort and talk with our DVC Guide for a bit. I really do not recall having lunch, we did get some ice cream after we saw the models down there (which are beautiful BTW)
Dinner - Liberty Tree Tavern
We ate here before MNSSHP. It was a lot of fun. We had a special friend come with us to dinner and the party so that made it extra nice for us. The food as always is pretty good here. That honey butter and rolls are super. I just love seeing all the guests dressed up in their costumes. People amaze me at how creative they are with costumes. We are so not
Friday, October 15 - Our last day
Breakfast - ABC Commissary again.
We were heading to MGM Studios to say goodbye to our character friends that we saw throughout the week. I was anxious about getting home, it started to pour down rain and Matt & I were just not seeing eye to eye that day. Was not as enjoyable as the first time we ate there.
That was our last meal at WDW
for this trip. DH attempted to get a cheeseburger at Rosies but the lines were just huge, which it always seems to be over there. We never have much luck for some reason.
We try to go to one new place each trip, usually for a dinner. We were going to try Citrico's this trip, but had to change some things around. So, our new thing we tried was Crystal Palace. I was quite bummed when I realized Thursday night at the Halloween Party that I had not had ONE Dole Whip. I have no idea what I was thinking. How could I have forgotten to get my most favorite WDW food item
I think that was about it. Thank you for reading. Sorry it was so wordy, but I was trying to remember everything as I typed. I normally write everything down in my Passporter, but did not keep up with it this trip.
