We have just returned from a 14 day WDW. There was on this trip;

Me : Kirstie 26 love all things disney. Parents first took me when i was 18mths old and the magic has never wore off. I dont eat fish and am not the biggest fan of pasta
DH: Introduced to disney by me. 31. Eats almost everything other than shellfish
DS: JJ turned 4 on this holiday will eat most things
DS: LC aged 1 loves his food espeically cheese, drinks gallons of milk if allowed!!

Having become annual pass holders we decided to purchase the tables in wonderland card to use this trip as the dining plan just doesnt appeal to us as we also like to eat offsite. To be honest we found this amount of table service meals too much and our next trip are planning to do a lot less 6 at the most we think.

The onsite tabe service restaurants i will be reveiwing are

Tonys (lunch)
Coral Reef (lunch)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Hollywood and Vine (Dinner)
Tuskers House (breakfast)
Rainforest Cafe at AK (dinner)
Spoodles (breakfast)
1900 Park Fare (dinner)
Plaza (dinner)
1900 Park Fare (breakfast)
Beirgarten (dinner)

we also ate a number of counter service places including:
Earl of sandwich
wolfgang puck express
Boardwlk bakery
boulangerie Pattiserie
pecos Bill
Starring rolls
Studio catering co.

I dont have any pictures of food to include im afraid as i just felt too selfconcious to do so. Though i do have a ocuple from the character restaurants and JJ's birthday cake from the bakery we had made.

Having been up with the boys at 4:30am due to the time difference fromt he UK we decided o go for quick and easy breakfast that morning at the 24hour counter service resaurant in the Dolphin, Picabus.

It is one of the places where you can get decent coffee onsite, as they serve satrbucks, which helped keep DH going that day. I had some OJ whilst theboys had some milk. Food wise Dh had the ciabatta which contained which contained bacon egg and cheese, he reported that it was a little bit greasy , the eggs were cooked fine but there was too much cheese something whihc he found a bit this trip.

I had Fried egg bacon and toast which the boys shared with me, the egg was a little undercooked but otherwise fine. It as a little on the expensive side but the convience made up for this.

For lunch that day we had an ADR at Tonys, when we checked in they couldnt find our reservation at first but it turned out our name had been spelt wrong on the system so was quickly sorted out, we were then seated within 5 minutes of checking in. As it was ds's birthday during this trip, the table had been decorated with strimmers and mickey glitter. Our server quickly came and introduced himself, took drinks orders ( I had the raspberry lemonade, DH had sprite, JJ apple juice and LC milk) and offered suggestions from the menu. He was very helpful and informative, promply offered drinks refills when required. He certainly was excellent.

We are not big appertisers eaters so went straight for the entrees,

Dh had the Chicken Parmigiana - Lightly breaded chicken breast with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella over spaghetti. This chicken breast was at least an inch thick, they certainlky didnt scimp on the portion size, this amount would have fed us all!!!! They was no complaints from his about this

I had Tonys Flatbread, This was huge with plenty of toppings, I have to say it did defeat me and i left about a 1/4. The chicken was well cooked, there was just the right amount of sauce to stop it from being dry but without making the base soggy.

The boys shared the childrens spaghetti and meatballs , they was probably 4 meatballs which they both ploished off and a good amount of pasta, the only thing i would say about this dish is it needed a bit more tomato sauce on top as they wasnt enough to cover all the pasta, but otherwise they enjoyed this. We asked if the boys could have some bread to share with this also and got given a basket containing at least half a loaf, which we were not charged for.

For dessert JJ had an ice cream sundae, but was too full from the pasta to finish.

Dh and I shared the Ice Cream Bomb - Chocolate and vanilla ice cream covered in a rich chocolate sauce. WOW so so good If i hadnt of been so full from the main course i would have had another one.

Total was $56.74 after DDE and 18% tip which i thought was good value for this meal.

I would certainly recommend Tonys from our experience there, and would certainly consider booking there again for our next trip.

subscribing, I can relate to the jetlag. First time we took DD we were up from 4am for the entire week. She never did see an evening parade or fireworks on that trip!

sorry for the delay, but i have been having some serious laptop problems hoping its now sorted and i can rattle through a lot this wkend, thanks for sticking with it
