Hello all, after a FANTASTIC 10 day MYW+Free Dining trip, we are home  Although I would always rather be @ Disney, the humidity and heat were almost unbearable!! The average temp was 94 degrees with 98% humidity :scared: Coming from 3-8% humidity and average temp. of 60-75 degrees was a bit too much :goodvibes So glad to be home, but miss Mickey.

On with the review....

Day 1 10/3
Olivia's Cafe @ OKW
Had PS @ 6:30 pm, told about 20 minute wait. 25 minutes later, was told about 20 minute wait. Decided to go elsewhere...Bye Olivia's maybe next time

Earl of Sandwich @ DTD
total for 4 counter services $46.79
Sandwiches -
2 Scudetto's (like an Italian sub w/Salami. Pepperoni, ham, etc)
1 Roast Beef w/Swiss
1 Ham & Cheese
2 cupcakes 2 brownies for Dessert & 4 fountain drinks
EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!!!!
(we used 21 out of 40 counter services here..loved this place!!)
Me and DS8 LOVED the Scudetto!! It had roma tomatoes, a wonderful light Olive Oil and tiny bit of tomato sauce as well as Provolone and fresh bread. We are Sicilian and honestly this is the best restaurant "italian" sub I've had in a LONG time!!

DH LOVED the roast beef, was very tasty and rich, DS4 LOVED his ham and cheese as well...very smoky and sweet.
Four out of four stars....a MUST eat for us from now on!!

Day 2 10/4
Ohana Character Breakfast
Total 4 Table Service $67.99
Food was Family Style included Scrambled Eggs, Sausage (GOOD), bacon, potatoes and waffles.
Food in general was pretty good. Our server wasn't great, but did the job. She happily got us all toast and kept table fairly clean.
Characters were Lilo, Stitch Pluto and Mickey. We saw them all. Overall, would do Ohana again. Nice atmosphere.
2-3 out of 4 stars

Lunch/Dinner Day 2
"Goods to Go" @ OKW
Total 4 Counter Service $37.82
2 Cheeseburgers w/fries
2 chicken Strip Baskets w/fries (fries were crinkly, really good)
4 fountain drinks
Food average Disney Counter service, but French Fries were yummy
2-3 out of 4 stars

Day 3
Yachtsman's Steak House @ Yacht Club
Total 8 table service $307.04
Appetizers
1 Caesar Salad
1 Green Lipped Mussels
1 Shrimp plate
1 tomato/mozzarella plate

Entree's
Cowboy Ribeye Steak
Prime NY Strip Steak
Surf n' Turf
Lamb chops

Desserts
2 Key Lime Pie
Dessert sampler
cake
This meal cost 2 tables per person. Since we had 3 table service credits left, no problem using 2.
Meal and service were FANTASTIC!! We only waited 2 minutes to be seated and layout of restaurant was wonderful. All steaks were AMAZING, the mashed potatoes AWESOME (don't get augratin potatoes, very dry, she happily gave me the mashed potatoes and were great)
Desserts were wonderful and appetizers were all really yummy.
Free dining made this possible. Would I pay for this out of pocket?? No, because I am a frugal traveller. Would I come here again with the dining package OH YEAH!!!!
4 out of 4 stars

Day 4 10/6
Breakfast Kona Cafe @ Polynesian
Total 4 table service $68.37
2 Tonga Toast
2 Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes
2 Kona Delights (fruit)
2 Grapefruits
2 Coffees
2 smoothies
Everything was WONDERFUL!!!! I had my favorite Tonga Toast, DH had his favorite Pineapple pancakes and DS's LOVED theirs as well.
Kona Cafe is a MUST DO for us every trip, and did not disappoint!!! LOVE it!
4 out of 4 stars

Day 4 Dinner @ Cinderella's Royal Table
Total 4 table service $125.56
appetizers
Seafood Eggroll
Caesar Salad
entree
2 Kingdom Cut Rib Eye
2 Children's Pretzel Hot Dogs
Dessert
Castle Clay
Crown sundae
Chocolate Cake
Key Lime Creme Brulee
This meal would be mostly forgettable if not for it being in the Castle. The caesar salad was just ok, the seafood eggroll AWFUL. The steaks were very cheap cuts of meat and tasted as such, the kids hot dogs were inedible. The desserts were awful with the only exception being the Key Lime creme brulee. This was the BEST DESSERT we had during our entire trip!! It came with a graham cracker biscotti and was AWESOME!!! If I had the free dining I would come for lunch or breakfast, but would NEVER PAY out of pocket for it.
2 out of 4 stars (amience & dessert alone or would be 1 star)

Love the report so far! Will have to try some of the resturants that you ate at next time we go! I agree though, Earl of Sandwich is really good!

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for posting.

Thanks for posting your reviews. We were there Oct 1st to the 10th and I'll agree with you about the heat and humidity -- unbelievable!! Temperature wise I'm glad to be home but miss Mickey.

We love Earl of Sandwich also and it's a must for us.

We ate at CRT for dinner on the 1st and it was ok -- not great but ok. Interesting though because I had the creme brulee and didn't like it because it was like it had just come out of the fridge? It was not creamy at all and the carmalized topping was like trying to break a brick to get through it. It looked good when it was delivered to other tables though. Strange.

fab trip reports !
