First off we are on the dining Plan.
Sunday
LeCellier- I have read so many raves on this board about LeCellier that we had to go. It was very good. I had cheese soup and wife had beef barley.
The service here was very good. We had a 7:00 pm ADR and were out in plenty of time for Illuminations. There were plenty of people waiting, who didn't look very happy- I think the later ADR's were running behind. The soups and bread sticks are good. I had the Mushroom Filet and DW had mussels. The deserts were Maple Cream Brulee and Choc Mouse. The texture of the Creme Brulee was wrong- it was like the creme/egg mixture broke. But it tasted good. 7.5/10
Monday
Breakfast & Lunch at CBR food court were just OK. 6/10
Raglan Road- This place is great. The Guiness was just like getting it in Ireland- so creamy. The appetizer's ( excpt soup or salad) are stated as "to Share" , on the Dining Plan if you choose one-it counts as both of your appetizers. We orderd the Chicken liver pate- it was awesome and it was enough for 4 people. I order the fish & chips and DW had the Kevin's Kudos- Smoked Pork Loin with creamed potaotes and cabbage. They were super.
We were too full to enjoy dessert but split the bread putting- the magic here is the small pitcher of butterscotch sauce they bring you to pour over it . Yummy. 9/10
Tuesday
Breakfast at Chef Mickey's. This buffet is fabulous- the selection is huge and the quality was excellant. They have anything you could want to eat and it is all good. The manager James was keeping a close eye on th eoperations and the place was very clean , unlike what I have read on these boards. 9/10
Tomorrow Land Terrace Noodle Station- A ncie change from fast food but the terriaki stir fry didn't have much flavor. 6.5/10
Kona Cafe- This place is always super! I had the Crab Cakes - they are crisp on the outside and moist inside. Super taste and texture. DW had chix wings and they are gooood. I had the filet- it was much better than LeCellier. DW truly ejoed the MahiMahi with tasty risotto.
Finally had the Kiluaua Torte ( liquid center Chocolate torte ) with vanilla ice Cream it was delicous! Top shelf meal. 9.5/10
Wednesday
Wolfgang Puck Cafe- The service is professional. The waiter madeclear that if we wanted sushi that it would have to be entree and select something else for the appetizer, good to know upfront. I had crabcakes-not as good as Kona Cafe but damn fine non-the-less! DW had vegtable spring rolls that were very tasty. DW had a very large Sushi platter that she loved. I had Wiener schnintzel with warm potatoe salad. The veal was perfect- light & crisp but the potoae were a bit too sweet, fortunately the argula sald was peppery enough to balnc ehte dish. The Carrot Cake and Keylime Tart were pure heaven. 9.5/10
I think we ate some of the best Disney had to offer.
The dinning plan was a huge value.
