Dining Ressies already made hoping for Free Dining

Just curious...

How many people have made ressies for Oct-Dec hoping that a free dining comes out?

We have a room only code and some restaurants were booked already from mid December.

I made my ADRs at the 180 day mark, if FD isn't offered I'll pay for the QSDP and keep a couple of the ADRs, pay OOP for meals, and cancel a few of them.

I couldn't get Le Cellier for 12/10-12/14 last week. I was hoping for a lunch reservation - using room only not a dining plan. We just wanted the cheese soup and pretzel bread

I made ours yesterday...we're actually hoping for a room-only discount and not FD. But we figured we should make some adr's in case FD is all that is offered. We'll be there on Oct.15 and had no problems getting what we wanted.

I made my adr's for October, and I don't even have a reservation yet. Of course I made them way after the 180 mark, and yes you can make them without a reservation, because I did.

I too am waiting on free dining for Oct. 17-24. I looked on a website that has the historical release dates of all the Disney discounts. Last year, free dining for Oct.-Dec. came out, to the public, on July 22nd.

So just a few weeks left to find out if free dining will be available to those that are waiting. We're going regardless if it's offered, but I sure do hope it will be!!!

I hope if/when it is announced that they don't exclude many dates...we are currently using the 20/30/40 Pin-our dates were excluded on the Monster Pin...in the past when FD was offered were there many exclusions (we are not traveling around a holiday)..??

We've made our ADRs for mid-October as well, back at the 180 day mark, we will be getting the DDP regardless of whether or not we get it for free. No luck getting a pin, other then keep getting the existing offers. We had recieved pins in the past though, including one for the current public offer weeks in advance, but our days going have been set in stone for over a year now...

I made my ADR's already, in anticipation that if FD is announced, I will already have my ressies. And I am going by myself.....

I've made more ADRs than I usually would, but not enough if FD is announced. But we are happy having 3-4 character meals and all our other meals CS.

I am not a fan of having to be somewhere at a specific time for a meal. Obviously, for the Princess Lunch in Norway, we have to plan in advance. But personally, I hope we get a room discount instead and pay OOP for meals.
