I am about to make our reservations for dining in October. Am I correct in thinking that I just make reservations for dinner and not lunch?

You can and should make reservations for any meal, breakfast lunch or dinner, that you plan on eating at a table service restaurant. If you
want a character meal for breakfast or lunch, you definatlely want to make
reservations. Alot of the table service restaurants have the same or similiar menus at lunch for cheaper than dinner. Good luck.

YES! Make all your ADR's. If you decide not to go it's no big deal. But without them you could have an hour wait or longer even at lunch. We always liked sit down meals (TS) for lunch. They take up the hottest time of the day and after sitting for an hour we're ready to walk the parks till closing. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

It is a big deal. Especially if you make the reservations for a character meal, or one of the more popular restaurants. Because then somebody else cannot get a reservation. So, please only make ADRs if you plan on using them. Of course, there are unforseen emergencies, etc. that could prevent you from making your reservation, but please don't make ADRs, thinking that you MAY want to go.

I'm making them for all table service restaurants. We like to eat close to certain times, and like to be early for lunch, and it can be difficult to get those times.

I am in the process of changing a few days around, and cancelling ADRs is as complicated as making them!

But I'm being good and doing both. Also, the CMs will remind you if you're making conflicting ADRs.

Sorry Rhonda, I didn't mean she shouldn't cancel, I just meant it was easier to just cancel than not make them. But you are right, some people probally don't bother to call and cancel. A few places take a CC for that reason. :cheer2: :cheer2:

I figured that's what you meant! I just didn't want to confuse other people. :goodvibes

I think this is why they started the pre pay for CRT. We have been there twice, when it was really hard to get reservations and they were half empty. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
