Hi! I've learned so much from reading this forum - thanks for all the great information. This is our first time getting the dining plan so I'm not sure how it would work when we have reservations at a table service restaurant with a family that isn't on the dining plan. Do we just ask for separate checks at the beginning of the meal so they can pay with cash and we can use our credits?

Thanks!

The server will ask you when you sit down if anyone is on the dining plan, just let them know who is on the plan and who is paying cash and they will take care of separating the bills accordingly, this is very common and your servers will have no issues with this.

DDP is a method of payment. It doesn't have anything to do with making reservations. When you say you are using DDP to pay you will get a separate check.

Great - thanks so much for the response. That will make it easier!
