Dining reservations in January

We are going WDW at the end of January. In the past we have gone at the same time of the year and have had no problem getting reservations the same day or a day or two before we wanted to go. We normally go to the places that are not the top picks or times.
Places like Garden Grill, Cheft Mickey, Prime Time Cafe and Marrakesh are places we are thinking about.
We don't like to lock up our time to much because we like to be able to change with the weather and mood of the family.
Looking for input or changes in the way WDW is doing thing that might make us committ to making reservations earlier:confused

I think this is the first year that free dining has been offered during this time period, so that might have an impact. We're going during the same time and I've been switching some ADR's without any problem, except for Le Cellier.

With Free dining in affect you may want to reconsider adrs. Seriously, they places are hard to get into.
Glad to hear that above poster is getting their stuff changed around, but that is the exception right now not the norm.
