Dining Reservations and Magic Mornings

I know this has been asked and answered many times, but with the search function down, I can't find it. How early can you make reservations at Minnie and Friends Breakfast on a magic morning compared to a non-magic morning. We only have one option of mm to use since we will be there Wed-Friday, so I don't want to waste all of our mm time at breakfast. Also, is Blue Bayou very kid-friendly? I think my boys would love eating there and seeing the POTC boats coming through, but it looks a bit fancy for their tastes.

The best thing to do is to call the dining reservation line and ask them.

On MM days 50 minutes before the regular opening. On non MM days 10 minutes before opening.

MM will carry on as normal despite Grad Nite parties. In the past they were moved because of parties and this is no longer the case.

Maybe now that the summer schedule is in their computer they might be, but I called last week to ask this question and the lady told me--it all depends on the time that DL opens--if it opens at 8 or 9. I said, well, this will be the summer schedule, which will be either a 7 or an 8 AM opening time.

Her reply--no, it will be either 8 or 9. I argued with her a little bit and then I just said I'd call back later.

Maybe I should clarify. If you know the day you want to go exactly and are booking a reservation, they should know when they are taking their first customers.

She was correct, you were not. The reason is it depends on when in Summer. DL opening are planned for 8 or 9 In June and August, 8am in July.

In either case my post above shows when the reservations can be made. 50 minutes before general opening on MM days and 10 minutes before on non MM day's opening.

When the particular day's hours are posted a finite time will be known.
