Dining Reservations 5/18

I'm trying to book Carthay Circle and Lamplight Lounge reservations for mid-July, but I'm confused about availability and wanted to make sure others here are experiencing the same thing. To me, it looks like Disney has only opened Carthay reservations through June 30th and Lamplight reservations through July 4th, meaning no one has had an opportunity to book any dates after those. Is that consistent with what others are seeing? And does anyone have predictions about when more dates will be loaded in for reservations?
Yes, that’s what I’m seeing too

Yes, I've been trying to book Carthay for a mid-July trip and I've been seeing the same thing. I figure they are either waiting on the June 15th date for California to re-open so they can figure out numbers better or are having difficulty fully staffing a full-serve sit down restaurant. So many restaurants in California are having difficulty with staffing, I guess it would make sense that they might want to wait and make sure they can handle the guests before allowing additional reservations.

I, too, am avidly looking for CC and LL. LL because I love it, and CC because we've never dined there and I want to do a bunch of new stuff this trip. But I haven't seen anything, either.

Are they opening Blue Bayou reservations 60 days out now? Is there a specific time they release them? Thank you.

When I checked at 6AM EST this morning, they had many Blue Bayou timeslots for July 26th. I believe about 5 hours later they were all taken for lunch and dinner. They fill up really fast compared to the others.

Anyone have a more recent experience with Blue Bayou? I got on at 6AM Est and the app was acting as if August 27th wasn't a valid date for Blue Bayou and the Disneyland website doesn't even let you search for times. It shows "there are no schedules available for the date selected".

I have not seen BB at all lately. We hit our 60-days out the other day, so I got up at 5:59 a.m. ET right before my first park day, Aug. 25, went live. I refreshed until resy's popped up, and right away the only things that popped up were the same things I've been seeing before: Cafe Orleans, GCH Craftsman, Wine Country, and Ogas. Ogas were mostly gone by 12 p.m. ET, leaving those other 3. I have yet to see any other stuff show available for those dates.

I don't know what's going on with BB. Maybe bc of low capacity + demand they aren't releasing them at the 60 day mark like others, I dunno.

DL's dining reservations system right now is frustrating to say the least.

Same, I found the exact same three restaurants. I made a reservation for Ogas and Cafe Orleans and refreshed recently as well for BB, nothing.

I noticed when checking on the website vs the app, after Aug. 13 it doesn't even show hours/schedule for BB, which leads me to believe they haven't made it live in the system at all past Aug. 13. Not sure why that is the case. Maybe they're holding out knowing that capacity is going to change or operating hours are going to change? Guess all we can do is keep checking.

I noticed the exact same thing. I can only hope, but also don't want to get up at 6 every day for weeks to find out ;)

You and me both. I get up normally at 7 a.m. for work and I back when I was doing tests to see what reservations would be available, I was still seeing BB at 7 am, in addition to Ogas, for weekdays (which is when we'll be there) so I'm hopeful that will still be the case because no chance I'm getting up an hour early each day just in case haha.

So I got up way too early and tried again this morning. Appears nothing is available at 6AM first thing in the morning.

When I did this the other day for our first in-park day, I got up at 5:58 a.m. It was showing the date but giving me an error message/nothing available when I tried to look. Right on the dot at 6 a.m. a few things appeared, but it was those same three that seem to always be there (Cafe Orleans, Craftsman, Trattoria) + basically every time slot for Ogas. The other three are still readily available, but Ogas dried up by a few hours later that morning.

So, lesson learned, it seems that there really is no need to get up that early for your 60-days out time frame. 🤷‍♂️

We went to Blue Bayou on Thursday 6/24/21 at 7pm and were seated at the water's edge. I was able to get our reservations the morning they opened up reservations for BB. While we were there, we noticed they were only seating tables in 2 rows at the water's edge. Our server/cast member told us that capacity is reduced and they hope to be increasing their available tables "soon" and they had added tables in the last week. It's possible that reservation slots will open up gradually so it's worth it to keep checking. We did walk by in the early afternoon of 6/24 and there were many people trying to get walk-in reservations and they were not accepting any additional guests. Just wanted to share our experience from last week. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone looking to make reservations!
