On the first day (60 days out) that I will be able to book dining reservations, will I be able to book them for my 8 day length of stay or only for the first day? (I am staying on property and have a MYW package.)
Then, on day 59, I would book day 2 of the trip? Etc.?
I am used to WDW's 180+10 policy and just trying to be aware of what DLR's policy on that is.
Thanks!:thanks:

Only the first day and then like you said, day 2 ressies 59 days out, etc.

Basically forget anything you know about WDW's system, LOL, it's much more laid back in these parts. But definitely make reservations that are important to you because you never know ;)

At Disneyland it is 60 days from the date of the reservation, regardless of where you are staying. So, if you want to book everything on one call, you'll need to wait until 60 days out from the date of the last reservation you need.

Oh dear....I can't do that! I'm much too hyper-vigilant to wait :hyper: I guess I'll be spending time reserving restaurants for several days in a row. :surfweb: That's fun though...no complaints. Thanks everyone for the help! :thumbsup2

Making the reservation online is very easy and quick, as well. You'll also find that very few restaurants book up on the first day either. So, it's not super stressful.

As others have said, dining reservations at DLR are much easier to come by, so try not to think of DLR as being like WDW. You can only make reservations one day at a time regardless of where you are staying or ticket type. It's worth noting that you can call or make reservations online. In case you are wondering, the online system rolls somewhere after midnight, but generally before 6:00 am, although it seems like it might not be 100 percent consistent day to day. The phone lines open between 8:00 am and 9:00 am (pacific). In the end, you don't need to be online/on the phone ASAP to score prime dining ADRs. It's also worth noting that some folks have reported that the dining system doesn't always load all options on the first day. So even if things show as unavailable on the first day, give it a few days and things are usually available. In most cases, you can score prime dining ADRs only a few week (or days even) out. Have a great trip!
