Dining res on party night

I'm sure this was covered last year, but if you have a dining res on the night of a party (say after 6 pm), but not a party ticket, what happens when you are done? Can you still go to the emporium on the way out?

If you have one of the last allowable dining reservation times for someone without party tickets and you finish dining after the start of the party, you could be escorted to the front gate by a castmember. Even if you are able to leave on your own you will not be able to enter any store or restaurant/CS or stop at a bathroom so do all your shopping before dinner and go to the bathroom before leaving the restaurant.

On MVMCP nights, the MK actually closes at 6pm for guests without party tickets. It's still 7pm for the Halloween party. I don't know when the last dinner ADR is for guests without party tickets, but I'm sure it will be early enough that those guests will be out of the park or on their way by 7pm.

No you can't go to the emporium afterwards. Any shopping would have to be done prior to park closing for regular guests

and, just to clarify, you may need a party ticket to go to dinner IF your ADR is after a certain time designated by Disney.

How/when would I know this?
It's disclosed in the terms when you book the reservation. There's a line calling out that the reservation requires a special ticket. Lots of people miss it. If you aren't sure, look up the hours for the restaurant on that night. If it looks like they close before your reservation, then you need a party ticket.

The MK closes on MVMCP nights at 6pm and opens to the party guests at 7pm. It may very well be that you will need a party ticket for an ADR between 6 and 7.

This year they changed the way you make dining reservations on a party night. If you go to the regular dining reservation page for one of the MK restaurants you will see a shorter dinner period. For example at Be Our Guest the dinner hours on Dec 10 is 4:00 to 6:00. You can make a reservation during that time without party tickets.

However, on the dining reservation website there is also a separate listing for "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Dining (and another listing for the Halloween Party nights). If you book a dining reservation on that page it will require party tickets. For example for Be Our Guest it repeatedly says on the first page that everyone in your group will need party tickets to dine.
