So my mom and I were looking at menus for each of our places we are eating. Most of the palaces we are eating at are places both my mom and i have eaten at before so no matter what we read it won't impact our opinon of it. while we were reading reviews we saw many wonderful o'hana reviews (along with a couple of bad ones) and we also found mixed reviews for crystal palace. We currently have reservations for crystal palace and I was just wondering what each of you think of the restaraunt. I was also wondering what each of you think of o'hana and whether or not you would reccommend it. In both my mom and I's eyes it's one or the other so I was just wondering if you think that o'hana's is a better place to eat than crystal palace.

Also check out my PTR: Celebrate with Mickey Mouse to see more information on where i'm going to be eating on the trip

We just ate at Crystal Palace for lunch last week and really enjoyed it. The buffet options were vast and the food was hot and delicious. It's great that the characters are there for B L D....if you have kids, they will really enjoy it.

Ohana is our favorite restaurant on Disney property, so if it's 1or the other, it's Ohana for us! Everyone in my family loves it. The potstickers are my favorite and I could make a meal just on those! My DH loves the steak!

Enjoy!

I've only eaten dinner at 'Ohana, never had a character meal there.

I've eaten both breakfast and lunch at Crystal Palace.

The food at 'Ohana, to me, is much better than the buffet at Crystal Palace. The atmosphere is fun and lively and our grandkids love 'Ohana.

The main attractin of Crystal Palace is the characters; the food is ok but not wonderful. The dumplings at 'Ohana and the skewered meats are el Yummo!!!

Enjoy, which ever one you choose.

We don't care for either CP (lunch or dinner) or 'Ohana (dinner) and would skip both. These are 2 of the more overrated restaurants in my opinion. Over the last few visits to CP we have found the selection to have dwindled a bit, hot dishes were served cold, pretty rushed character interaction and our waitress last time was pretty bad. 'Ohana was just plain awful on our last visit. The appitizers and side dishes tasted like something out of the frozen foods section of our local supermarkets, the meats were overcooked, dry and tasteless, the service was beyond awful. If it is just you and your mom, I doubt the atmosphere will be to your liking. The emcee lady is very LOUD and obnoxious and almost intrusive on your meal, if your unlucky enough to be sitting around the path that the kids have races on be prepaired for parents pushing you have so they can take a picture of their kid(s) and be ready to be hit in the feet with coconuts. We've given it a couple of tries, figuring that our first couple of visits were just bad nights, but it seems like it is what it is.

However, we have enjoyed breakfast at both... go figure.

We have only eaten at CP for breakfast and absolutely loved it each time (4). Never a bad experience.

We have read such wonderful reviews (speckled by a few negative) for O'hana so we booked dinner there for our upcoming trip and are super excited.

O'HANAS! That restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is some of the best food on Disney property! There are so choices in what to eat, from chicken wings to steak to ice cream! Going to O'hanas is a great choice!

We've had breakfast and dinner at Crystal Palace and we've loved it every time. On our trip last November, we finally had Ohana for the first time. We had dinner there and we LOOOOVED it. All 5 of us can't wait to go there again next time. We loved the atmosphere and the food was top-notch. So yummy! If it was us choosing, I think we'd all choose Ohana over Crystal Palace, but we love them both and have plans to go to both next year.

Good luck deciding. I'd think you'd love either one! :goodvibes

We have ate at Crystal Palace for both lunch and dinner and both times loved it...the characters were great and the food was decent too. I have not had Ohana dinner, but we have had breakfast twice and its on the top of our list for favorite breakfasts. I'm really hoping we can get Ohana for a dinner reservation for our March trip.
