Dining Question

Don't know if this was or is posted but it popped into my head just now and i dont want to get sidetracked and forget my question so here it is ...

when i go into a table service resturant... and i split one meal with someone else..would the still take two dinning credits? because two people sat at the table?

One meal costs one credit (except at signature restaurants, where one meal costs two credits). If you are at a restaurant that will allow two people to split one meal, it is still one credit (or two at a signature).

As long as it is not a buffet or an all you can eat meal, you can split one entree for 1 credit.

The above is correct, unless you are dining at Via Napoli. There it is different, if ordering the pizzas.
I am not sure the exact, but when a couple people order a pizza it isn't just 1 credit. So be aware of this restaurant.

Do most of the restaurants let you do this? It seems like the portions are huge and we have a couple of dinners that require 2 TS credits. If we could order an app oop and split an entree/dessert a couple of times it would be fantastic.

This is what I have heard too. Similar to ordering a pizza in your room, they take two TS credits.

I believe most do but some people may have different experiences at different restaurants. Ask first if you are concerned.

From what I heard about Via Napoli (haven't been there myself on the dining plan) they will not even allow two persons to share an individual pizza on the plan. If you're two guests ordering individual pizzas you have to buy two of them.

Many people report being allowed to do this at most restaurants. There are reports of it being disallowed at Via Napoli, but you shouldn't have trouble at most Disney-owned restaurants.
