Dining Question, Please Help!

I just made a reservation for Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian for five. I have two younger brothers (20 and 22) who dont eat all that much for food. I had them add to the reservation that they had food allergies, or whatever the note they make to the reservation is, but when I asked if it was possible for them to order off the kid's menu and just get charged an adult price for it, the CM said no. I dont care about paying 20 dollars for a hamburger if need be, but if this isnt an option, I dont really think I can eat here any longer and I really wanted to try it out. If anyone knows if this is something Disney allows and can let me know it wont be a problem or have done this before and can ease my mind, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi! We love narocoosees! Acutally, there are several appetizers and salads that they could order that are very filling! The restaurant also serves bread.

Also, they could split a meal if they agreed upon one option.

Typically, you will find that once you get there - the waitstaff and chefs are very accomodating to special needs or requests in general. I am sure you will not have any trouble with small portions

I agree, what the reservations CM's say, and what the waitstaff say are two different things...What they don't want is folks going there thinking they can dine at a high end place, but paying QS prices by skimping. Hopefully, that makes sense the way I worded it.

On the other hand, why not have the two in question look over the menu for themselves and think about if this is the best choice for them. There might well be some place else where they'd enjoy the menu more. For some reason GF Cafe is popping in my head....
