lets say you do not have a ticket for animal kingdom but want to eat there on your dining plan. Do I have to purchase a ticket for that park or can we go in and eat and go right back out?

Admission to the theme park is required in order to be able to patronize any of the restaurants in the theme park.

(Note that the Rainforest Cafe, however, is not located inside the Animal Kingdom Park -- it is located outside the park.)

The other thing you can do is eat at the AKLodge at Bomba or Jiko...I have never been in either but perhaps one has a view...check it out on the Dining Board.
