The so called Disney Dining Plan is just over rated . Family of ten just got back Nov14-22 stayed at Port Orleans and etayed in three royal rooms and had to pay for extra room because they wouldn't accommodate 5 per room as they have done in past.
You pay a lot more for those so called packages. Free dining is not worth what you pay for the food.
Only food worth eating was T Rex downtown Disney, The Yachtsman and 1900 Park Fare.

Cinderella's Castle food was nasty Chef Mickeys food was terrible, Hollywood and Vine was terrible and we were forced to pay 50.00 tip for a buffet
! Chef Mickeys food nasty, Hollywood and Vine terrible buffet and we were forced to pay 50.00 tip to waitress at a buffet who did nothing for us.

The royal rooms don't accommodate 5.... and they never have.

The only rooms that accommodate 5 are in Alligator Bayou because they have a murphy bed. The only way to get 5 in another type of room is to have someone under 2 years old.

The amount of people you were bringing should have been on your reservation. They can't put you in a room you don't fit in when you make the reservation. Did you bring along a surprise guest or something?

I don't really know what to tell you about the food. I think it's fine. But if you don't like it I'd suggest not eating there. I don't really know what the dining plan has to do with the food?

Nothing about this post makes a whole lot of sense...

Sounds like you are not a buffet fan. Hope you enjoyed your stay despite some less than satisfactory dining experiences.

Too bad about the food. The only really terrible meal I have had in years was 2 years ago at Cosmic Rays.

I hope there was some part of your trip that was magical.
