We are going to Disney at the end of September. We are staying 6 nights at SSR and 3 nights at the Yacht club. My question is that we wanted to get the dining plan for just the 3 nights we are at the Yacht club. Are we able to do that? We have a 1 bedroom booked at SSR. We plan on cooking meals there.

I think you can. You will have to check in seperately(I think)-so it's like a new ressie. We had friends that changed rooms at the BCV and their dining plan reset.

You definitely can, when you check in to the 2nd resort you get a new key to the world card so the dp doesn't transfer even if you wanted it to. when we switched resorts I had to use my remaining dining before midnight on the night I checked out of the first resort.

Yes, whenever you change room classifications, or change to a new resort, it is a new reservations, and the DDP can be applied to each reservation separately.

Yes, as it's a new reservation. Is it on points? If it isn't, you'll have to buy tickets to make it a package, unless you have an annual pass.

If you made that YC reservation through DRC, you'll need to purchase a package to get the dining plan for those three nights. Rack rate for the room and tickets for everyone staying in the room. I think if you made it on points you may not be able to get it. But check with MS if you made it on points to make sure.
