Hello,

I am planning on renting points. I was wondering I we can still take part in the Dining Plan? If so, are tickets included in the plan - can I upgrade the tickets to park hoppers? Or do I have to buy my tickets seperately?

Wow - I know so many questions. I would really appreciate any insight!

A ticket purchase is not required to get the DP when staying on DVC points. When you make your arrangements with the member, tell them you want the dining plan. They'll add it to the reservation, and you'll pay for it at check-in.

You're on your own for tickets - you can purchase any kind of ticket you want.

You are free to buy tickets at an of the discounters you can. They are not included in point reservations. If you wish to get the Disney Dining Plan, you can purchase that also, but it must be for EVERY person on the reservation for EVERY night of the reservation.
Forgot to mention that the owner you rented from must let MS know of your DDP about a week ahead of your reservation.

If you do the dining plan make sure you do the reservations for the restaurants 90 days out to get what you want as well.

Don't forget that the dining plan needs to be added at least 48 hours before your arrival.
